I've realize that faucet is just a waste time. Just think about this. If a faucet would give you 0.00000048 per HOUR. and its minimum payout is 0.0003. It will took thousand years to earn 0.0003. See? not unless you have thousand of referrals.

Forget it. The transaction fee is bigger than the amount you will get after a week of working.

Hello guys,

So, I've recently started reading about cryptocurrency and stuff related to this field.
Today I stumbled upon these"faucets" that give away a certain coin amount after some waiting time.

Is this a relevant thing? I mean, the amount they provide is usually insignifiant and I don't really see how people could make use of that amount.

As I was saying I don't know that much about these things yet but I am really eager to learn.

It's a useless idea, to spend 12 hours a day without stopping and getting 8 satoshi, whether it is worth doing.

I think they are not worth the time if you are new to Bitcoin/Crypto-currency then you can try it just to get more knowledge on how faucets work and how much time it takes to reach the withdraw amount etc, there are better ways to earn you just need to do your research.

Faucets is waste of time.Suppose,If you work in faucets about 6 hours will get 1$ coin and if you do any work in outside you can earn 5-6$ easily? so,why you want to earn coin from faucets? If you want to earn coin then join social campaign, airdrop or signature campaign in bitcointalk. It's easy, need few times, but need some knowledge

Faucets are shit actually, it pays very less most of the cases like 100-200 satoshi per hour and if u see a much better paying faucet that it's most probably a scam.

Faucets may be useful for beginners but I think it's actually a waste of a lot of time and many are fake also. You can make better money by doing proper research and then by trading.

and what about faucets giving altcoins like litecoin or dash?

It all depends how things proceed.    Your view is what people thought when a faucet might give out 5 bitcoins and what was the point when each coin is barely worth a few cents.   Obviously we had growth and it was worth taking an interest.

Faucets serve both sides maybe because its trying to raise interest and usage among the general population.  Maybe its linked to advertising or they want your email address.   Its all reasonable and in some cases the coin grows and little amounts are worth something and it was worth taking in interest in that new project.

If you are super busy or super skilled, it might be better to place a new thread in the services section.   Ask people to pay you for skills in bitcoin or whatevery crypto you want to take.    If you have a skill its always worth getting involved hopefully

I think a lot are not worth the time, however with that being said, if you currently have very little or no crypto and looking to build up your stache, its a good, free way to get started.  Do a little research and find the best ones, and visit them regularly.  I know a lot of faucets have a minimum withdraw amount, due to the fees, but if you are consistent, its a good way for beginners to build up their portfolios.

A faucet is where new people can earn a lot of sts if they spend some time each day claiming. How it works Your cock completes the captcha on the faucet to receive the respective sts and each faucet has a timeout for the next claim. You will receive the sts that the tap owner pays to you and they will receive the money back from you completing the captcha for the money they received and the money you saw on the website ads by clicking on the link. on claim. You have your income from completing captcha and they make money from receiving the captcha you have entered and advertising on the website and they use that money to pay you back and maintain a website.

Some casinos have faucets and then you can gamble it up to something worthwhile. You've got nothing to lose when you're betting with free coin.

I only personally used faucets when I was first starting out on bitcoin just to have an idea on how bitcoin works, only using it to transfer between multiple wallets; just to have a general idea on how fees and transactions work. But it is really really not recommended that you do faucets if you're goal is to earn, as I'd rather get a job at a fast food chain like McDonalds and use my wages to buy bitcoin.

If you multiply the amount they provide you with the value of one coin you will notice that it's not worth the effort.

Instead of using faucets you could join some airdrops, but always pay attention to the rules.

For airdrops you should create an ethereum wallet on myetherwallet and also an waves wallet is advisable.

Always look whether you need an ethereum or waves address, otherwise you won't get anything.
