Star Wars Ep. 9 is here
Can you provide more then 3 pictures with a imgur link. I saw one picture w. the ID but people pointed something about being possible photoshop.

I got a buddy who buys and sells rolexs so this can maybe work out, if he likes it or not. I`d have to confirm back on here though.

Is this a custom model submariner or which one.

Picture shown is a Solid Gold 18K Day-Date aka Presidential.  Factory diamond bezel and dial.  The OP's link gives more detail.

I've already purchased a Rolex from Gray & Sons, although it was through BitPremier. Shipping was fast and the watch was exactly as described.
Now that I know I can purchase from them directly using coinbase I think It time to do some shopping.

OP, are you Rich, and what's your best price on http://www.grayandsons.com/product/26220/Montblanc (MontBlanc Meisterstuck PL11220)

Yes - this is Rich and my associate Margaret is working with me to answer the posts. Price I can do on the MontBlanc is $2750. Email me: [email protected] if you are interested and I will send you payment link through coinbase.

The date on a Rolex is centred. This date looks like its slightly off.

I own a genuine Rolex watch. This one looks real, but I don't see a proof that OP actually owns it.

I don't know why but seems like photoshop to me
*don't take it personal*

Was thinking that myself, hence the questions. However in the second picture it does show a different time.

The handwriting is partially out of focus, which I would expect for a macro photo.

The day and date are the same.  Its quite likely that handling the watch gave it energy to advance for another hour when the picture was taken.  I'm assuming this is an automatic.

Again, all it takes is for someone to call the retail store, using any number off the website, to verify.  Just call and ask if they accept bitcoin for any piece they offer.   Just deal with them directly.

I agree, I don't think anyone would buy without contacting the store first.

Gray & Sons Jewelers in Miami Beach Florida has been in business for over 35 years specializing in Preowned watches like Rolex, Patek Philippe, Cartier etc. We just recently started accepting Bitcoin payments through Coinbase. We have references all around the world. See our complete selection online at www.grayandsons.com. If you are interested please contact Rich Finlinson: [email protected]

Always be careful where buying a preowned Rolex.   I would trust grayandsons in store, or any factory authorized dealer.  Cost is irrelevant if you end up with a counterfeit.

I can't vouch for OP, but Overstock.com works if you need a Rolex

Is this where you purchased your Rolex?

If they accept BTC in store, I would rather send someone over to buy it for me than buy it online, even if it's protected by escrow.

Not saying this is not a legitimate offer, but it's way too difficult to separate truth from fake on these kind of deals, so it's not worth the risk in my opinion.

OP is not answering some very basic questions which is not a good sign.

He did post a picture with his name on a page so I guess it proves that he owns it.

This is a quote from : http://www.bobswatches.com/rolex-blog/rolex-info/the-top-ten-ways-to-spot-a-fake-rolex.html

3. The Magnification

Once you have the Rolex in front of you where you can can view it with your own eyes there a lot more ways to tell if it’s real or fake. On Rolex watches with a date (DateJust, Submariner, etc…) the date has to be very small to work properly and so Rolex adds a magnification glass, or Cyclops window,  to allow the wearer to see it more easily. On all Rolex models the magnification is 2.5X so

the date really jumps out at you. On fake Rolex watches the magnification is often much lower at 1.5X so the date looks small and more difficult to see. This is a huge tell tale sign of a fake Rolex.

It looks like the inner ring has diamonds as well, I wonder how many carats total?

On quick observation, I'd think the price difference was due to the ring of diamonds.  Depends on how much bling you're looking for!   Grin

Ah yep, that could be the reason. I just compared the model number (18238 vs. 18038)

I know this is from an angle and all.. But on an authentic Rolex, the date is exactly in the center of the magnified area.

That's just how it looks from an angle - I just compared it to my watch.

By the way: Overstock doesn't have the exact same model, but I found a very similar model at a significantly lower price.
