Vertcoin was not a bad choice, until I inspected the blockchain yesterday and see how concentrated it is in a few users.
this makes the coins highly manipulative, they can squeeze down the price easily til you let go... I have removed VTC from my list.
you can go take a look if you want, let me know if you come to same conclusion after seeing the blockchain..

this might be because VTC is too new... so giving them a benefit of a doubt for now, but definitely looks weird.

don't invest in any 'new' crypto, nothing out of the top 20 market cap either.

Litecoin is a save choice, but it won't go anywhere, so if you buy looking for appreciation, Litecoin will do nothing for you.

I feel it is either Megacoin, or Worldcoin, only these two appears to have a future in sudden appreciation.
and of the 2, the current new management in Worldcoin appears much more aggressive.
buy slowly, add more whenever you have more confidence, crypto is a volatile world, always reserve some ammunition to buy again lower.
and don't be afraid to make a 10% profit, you probably can buy again soon.

if you are looking to buy and hold... then I guess go for a 25% litecoin 50% worldcoin  25% megacoin mix.
probably will give u good results.

Pick a dozen new coins and buy em. You're bound to make a buck on one or more.

Traded at 2 exchanges (at least) and very undervalued. It's truly different and had an acceptable launch. Hard to mine.

LoL. You can get 100% return in a few hours by picking the right pump and dump alt coin.

I never saw the appeal of World Coin (apart from endless cries of "great community" which kind of smacks of desperation). It's not even particularly fast any more by today's standards (see for example Coino, Quark, Doge and a host of other coins). Not that speed is important anyway (in my opinion). Anything under 2-3 minutes is enough for a crypto currency.

The fact is that all Alt coins are just proxies for Bitcoin, so it doesn't matter which one you're in - they're all the same with different names and websites. Their values are measured in Bitcoin and the only reason people buy then is so that they might end up with more Bitcoin.

One or two have a very slight snowball's chance in hell of replacing Bitcoin if it ever falters - IMO PPC, XPM and LTC do in that order. That's about it. Meanwhile there are 3 categories of possible alternative cryptocurrency networks which could co-exist with Bitcoin. These would be:

[1] - store of value coins (Ones which are not used for day-to-day trading but are held as high value reserves). For me that's PPC, XPM (which were designed as such)

[2] - 2nd generation networks (which support all kinds of meta applications such as de-centralised exchanges, contracts, coloured coins etc). So that's NxT, Etherium, Mastercoin etc

[3] - liquidity coins. These are massive supply currencies who's value bobs about and which are used for buying groceries and throwing around in large amounts. So that's things like Doge and Tips

The rest may have specialist functions and may have markets, but those are the ones that stand out for me because they are unique - not clones, have properly designed roles in the crypto-economy and are who's value is not based on irrelevant criteria such as "it's fast" or "great community".

The only coin I have is WorldCoin.
I suggest for you to find an exchange that will trade earth coins to bitcoins and then you can trade the bitcoins to worldcoins in exchanges such as Vircurex or Cryptsy (however, cryptsy is not a good place - they might loose some of your coins).
Vircurex is a stable exchange - they even pay interest on the coins if the number of WDC exceeds 10k in Vircurex.

If we are honest, we all know that the best coin now is still WorldCoin.

The name is global, fast confirmations and limited money supply so it is very appealing store of value.

Why not SmartCoin (SMC), currently quite low in price. Has been on top in coinwarz. Busy to get into Cryptsy which may lead to a higher prices..

I'd say Mintcoin is looking strong, but personally I am investing in Cryptographic Anomaly because it is the only innovative scrypt coin in the alt coin section that isn't going to get raped by ASIC farms and multipools.

100 percent distributed... the DEV gave away them all then bought his coins from an exchange....

It is exactly like BTC in everyway except only 499,000 total coins of which all are in circulation...
And there are no block rewards except transaction fees...

Because there are no block rewards there is no 'cost' to maintain the price...

No brainer. It cost $1 it is the only coin that is successfully going to be completely anonymous, only 85M total, hard to mine as its only CPU and GPU.


This coin will easily get to $10 in the coming weeks IMHO.

There is nothing unique or great about any of the coins mentioned so far.....people want anonymity in their money and online life.

Its hard for me to sell this coin cause you got so many scammers pumping coins, but I suggest you research this one yourself so you know I'm only telling you the truth. It really is gonna make anyone who buys it now a ton of money.
