For me the mining industry will also have some fight with this.

Are they still making money even with the low price.
Electric consumption takes a huge toll in mining. So, it should be like they can pay that bill with some profits to provide for their efforts and maintenance.
Without them how could we succeed with everyday transactions.

Hi guys,

I am curious to know what for you is the best average btc price.

Thank you so much everyone who will answer me.  Grin

There is no best rate for bitcoin. if you are referring to buying bitcoin at the best price you have to buy the bitcoin dip during or wait the correctional time. what I mean by that is whenever the bitcoin price reaches the highest level the market correction will follow to stabilize the bitcoin price in the market. once the price is low you can buy and sell high once the price gets higher again.

I think he is asking us our actual valuation of Bitcoin regardless of its current price.  And to answer that, for me Bitcoin price at its current development and adoption would be around $30k  USD. The fact that it had grown that much after the 2017 run, is good enough to add more value of it from its ATH.  We have seen government accepting and regulating it thus giving more valuation to Bitcoin now than the previous 2017 run.  Just like a precious collectors item, Bitcoin value will grow significantly over the years due to its scarcity and more demand from the masses.

I still think 20-25 thousand dollars was a great price for bitcoin, that and the 1 trillion market cap (about 60 thousand dollars) is the level bitcoin should stay without moving under or over, never 70k never 15k, just move around 30k-50k up and down making traders profits but also the people who want to use bitcoin would have a high level of entry point as well.

I know you can get as low as 1 satoshi from faucets or even less from altcoin faucets but the real entry point is 0.001 in most of the exchanges so with bitcoin being 30-50 thousand dollars that entry would be harder to achieve for many people and exchanges won't have this much volatility from panic sellers. It is a long way to go but I still think it will reach those levels eventually, not going to be easy but we will definitely get there.

or take a look at https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/BTCUSD/

$7,800 still a good entry point for now.

Well, sure maybe. If you're a long term holder though and if you're bullish in bitcoin in the long term, the $400 price difference shouldn't really matter to be honest. If people just stopped guessing on what the "best price" to buy in and simply did dollar-cost average consistently, chances are they would've made money.
If you are a long term holder, there is currently no best price to buy. now or the next 2 weeks is a good time to buy. because prices in the next few years are much higher than today. it's just for the short term there might be price differences, but if you are a long term holder then the price difference like a few hundred dollars doesn't matter right? this is not the best price anymore, this is the best time for you to buy.

You know in fundamental analysis what people generally do is they forecast the value of various security by finding out their intrinsic values using Various methods. So let me help you find something of the same sort.

1. Future cash flows method: one of the most popular method to value shares. these are the discounted cash flows which a business is capable of generating over its tenure and divided by total number of shares to find cash flow per share. Bitcoin doesn't has anything of such

2. Stock to flow model: this is an interesting approach to find values of assets which don't have much of a utility but are scarce therefore costly. A detail explanation about bitcoin's valuation as per this method can be found here: https://medium.com/@100trillionUSD/modeling-bitcoins-value-with-scarcity-91fa0fc03e25

It says btc should currently be priced somewhere around $4k

3. Third is through purchasing power parity: This is method used for valuation of international currencies. It uses the comparison of purchasing power of two currencies and try to establishes a price among them. I don't think BTC could be priced as per this too because it can't be said a widespread currency as of now

So best guess by me is 4k as of now while it would definitely increase in future.

Hi guys, I am curious to know what for you is the best average btc price. Thank you so much everyone who will answer me.  Grin

Okay, thanks a lot for asking this question. Your question can be answered in different ways. One, if you are asking as someone who is looking for the best time to be a part of the Bitcoin bandwagon then look for the opportunity when Bitcoin can pulled back some more maybe around $7,500 that is if that can be possible. Two, if you are asking as a Bitcoin holder and you are looking for the opportunity to convert your Bitcoin into cash then i would say wait for the time when Bitcoin can be back at the $13K zone or better yet wait for it to go a big bull run in 2020. Third, if you are asking this question because you are just curious and maybe have nothing in mind to ask then I would say today's average is the best you might be looking for.

There is no one single best rate to buy BTC, it all really depends on what price your willing to pay, what your purpose of having it is for, and what price do you think it'll go to (no one would buy BTC for 10,000 if they thought it would go down to 8,000).

I mean, I personally am waiting for a lower price, probably around the low 7000's before I start making moves on BTC, but it depends for everyone.

I think your a bit too scared to take a dip in BTC, look at some stable altcoins at the start then and don't forget to do your research.

I guess you need to confirm what is the thing you are asking here in the forum, and many here might be answering in the wrong question and not all of us here are just guessing on what you are really pointing here.

But in my understanding I guess you are requesting what do we think is the best price for Bitcoin to land on or the average price for its new all-time high, And if this is your question, in my opinion with these the last price he had made a land is $20,000 USD to be set on the recent Bullish market, and now I guess the pretty close price for me will be $50,000 USD to $60,000 USD base on the average price we can get on the upcoming Halving.

You mean if ever BTC price has a stable price? If yes then for me $20k is already enough for BTC price. Let's invest today and wait for that price just like before. Hehe.
But if you are asking for the right price to invest then it is better for bitcoin to have a low price. I think we should wait for the price to decrease again cause the price will decrease again I think. Especially when the holidays  Huh I've noticed that when Christmas is coming and near the price of bitcoin is getting low.

I guess your mean is about the best rate price to buy bitcoin Grin

If so, I think that will depend on yourself. If you see the price is down at $7900, then that will be the best rate to buy bitcoin. But if you see the price now is $8000, and you are sure that the price will increase in one hour later, that will be the best price to buy bitcoin.

Many of us still confusing about what you mean, and maybe you can explain more so we can give another explaining.

Of course, best price for bitcoin is the highest. Especially for people like me who mostly have bitcoin from earn. Maybe for who buy, as long they get profit will be best price for them. But for who bought in high price, sometime they blame bitcoin for their loss.

It depends on you what price do you want to buy or to sell. We have a different best average price for bitcoin and if you will buy now maybe it is a good chance to buy simply because of the price which is now around 8129$ and if you will enter in this you will have a chance to earn huge profit once the price goes to the moon. Maybe you should monitor the price of bitcoin in the coinmarketcap and make your own best average price to buy and to sell.

His question doesn't really make much sense because BTC is traded on the open market. This isn't an car which you can set a best price at.

If a car is selling for an average price of $10000 and you find one for $9500 then obviously that is the best rate for it.

However best rate for BTC is different for everyone and its pretty much their average price that they paid to acquire BTC. If someone bought it at $9000 they will say $9000 is the best price because they don't want it to go under, same for someone that bought it at $12000, they will say anything under $12000 is a great price.

In my opinion I think around $10000 is a great price and a good price is maybe $7500 and above. Something like $5000 is considered "ok price" and something like $1000 is considered "very bad". Sure I would like $25000 a coin but you need to be realistic.

There is no average price for bitcoin, maybe you mean the best price at the moment, Bitcoin indeed cannot be set by anyone. You can determine your best price with what you want to invest at this time, there are many recommendations right now, the best price to buy Bitcoin for the long term.

Your question is a little bit confusing I do not know if you are asking what it is the best possible price you can get for bitcoin, or if you are trying to guess what it is the best entry point to buy bitcoin, if it is the first then most exchanges will give you a very similar price and there is not a huge difference between them, but if it is the second then it could be a good idea to wait since there is a possibility that the price of bitcoin will continue to go down for some time.

Apart the fact that 1 bitcoin = 1 bitcoin, and that countries should stop using USD only as the main trading currency, i think that for the moment $10k is an ideal price until mid-November, then it should be $13-15k by the end of the year.

Are you going for long term or shorter ones? If you do mention about long term then anytime would be the best
rate for you to buy btc but if you do make some short trades then this will vary on some charting analysis on whats the
best price entry but as said this had been always the question on most traders since we wont able to know on wheres the bottom.
So buying out would always be accompanied some sort of gambling.I agree on the suggestion above that we should
make it dollar-cost averaging rather than on focusing with btc values.

What do you mean best rate? for you to buy in and you forgot to include that? I agree that it's the best time everytime you want to buy at any rate but as an investor you will have to consider buying it cheaper.

for another case, the best average price should be $1M for BTC1 in 10 years later.
Too high and even though we're quite far from that timeframe I would consider looking to it at the rate of $100,000 within few years. OP you should add more clarity to your question on why you're asking for the best rate. Are you going to sell or buy?

There is not something like average price.Market is dynamic and living.I agree 7800$ is good entry but if you will wait for 7800$ then maybe btc will touch 8050 $ and strongly rebound then
You need to learn a little about support and resistance levels. You will have general outlook then
