October had many events notable for the entire cryptocurrency market: Ethereum almost recovered to $ 4,500, and Bitcoin's price surpassed $ 66,000, which is a good sign that October will be a great month for most cryptocurrencies. Now I am closely watching the process of collaboration between polygon, stellar and nws. I have high expectations for these coins. What do you think of this project? Could this significantly affect the price? Also, I would like to see your predictions for the altcoin market for October, which altcoin do you believe in and what fundamentals can drive growth?

In the first place, we all know that the market always unpredictable, second, nowadays when people find out that we are in the bull run season,
the majority of them are mostly focused in the altcoins instead of Bitcoin, especially now if your gonna check the market where some of them are green due to they knew that in altcoins there is a high chances for us to earn big compared into Bitcoin, just an opinion and thoughts only.

It’s hard to say what October will be really, especially for alts. At first I was bearish on alts because Bitcoin was pumping and when it broke the ATH I didn’t expect it to close under the ATH the next day. I was expecting it to pump for the next couple of weeks with alts going down.

However what if Bitcoin had a double top and that was it. It would mean that money would flow back into alts like ETH today and other alts would follow. Eventually there would be a blow off top for alts and everything would enter bear market territory.

You shouldn't expect such a target just for October. This month is still just the usual month.

Just try to be carried by any trend and follow it. October hasn't to do with it. We just have to watch the progress whenever it will occur. And when our target event happened, we should be ready for it.

Why still look at the month of October if it's just a few days for it to end.

I don't know about nws but I think polygon and stellar are still good coins to consider. I think that by next month, we'll still have some good signs for the market.

And if you invested in those cryptos and more alts, you have to recheck your diversification if you don't talk about bitcoin.

October is already a good trend and seriously, 1 week away to end this Month and I’m pretty sure the numbers are good already and with Altcoins, you can really make a lot of money if you do invest on many good projects. October is a good Month for the whole market, now that Bitcoin is on a correction some altcoins will rise.
The next month will be the selling season.
I'm not to wonder if there is a huge correction occurring next month or even these days as it is possible that many holders will take this opportunity.

Yeah, we might be seeing altcoins are growing which is good but I couldn't find this to become sustainable as surely it follows Bitcoin. I don't discourage people to hold but if you are here for a profit, I think you shouldn't have to do that but have to sell them before it dumps.

From what I notice this October bitcon will be bullish but am not expecting altcoins to follow the pumping immediately but I believe by November if bitcoin remains bullish or stable at $60k I believe altcoins will also start pumping gradually.
^ Altcoins was pumped just because BTC was pumped too. The BTC dominance was always had a good result and I don't think there will be an altcoins season since we are already here. We are in the bull market, altcoins and even shitcoins have little value. This month has a great history that could be recorded, this is the month that we surpassed BTC price previous ATH and now creating another ATH and people again by December BTC had another ATH again. So I think we should give full support to BTC Because this is the only one crypto leading in this field.

I believe bitcoin is following thesame pattern which it follows 2020 and thesame pattern 2013, so if bitcoin is following thesame pattern then what we should be expecting next for altcoins is bull run. But by December we all have to be careful because anything can happen.

Not trying to discourage you but people starting to follow altcoins right now should be a little careful. The Best time to look at altcoins was in January this year, a Fortnite after it Bitcoin  surpassed the previous all-time high of 20K.

The second-best time was any day in 2020 before going past the 20K mark.

Lots of people are waiting for the altcoin season, but it began a long time ago. Look at these stats

Some coins have already gone past 1000% in returns since January
Yeah, the current phase is for harvesting, probably a few more attacks by bears will create an impulse for a downtrend on altcoin markets. The general trend is bullish but the bears will not easily let the altcoins go up so easily before taking BTC price to the old ATH level, IMO. Let's see what will November do for altcoin investors, if the market goes down and altcoins follow BTC footprints then it is clearly a bear market. In the best case, next January altcoins will repeat the old ATH altcoin season like in 2018.

I'm looking for BTC's dominance rather than its price because the less the dominance we see, the more the price of alts will rise. Currently, BTC fell down from $67k to $61k and if it either manages to stay there or get down, we may see an extreme surge in alts' prices because then, money will shift from BTC to alts and the same happens in an inverse manner when BTC goes high, and with it only a few major coins continue their rallies.

@JeromeTrash, you are right mate.
People tend to make quick money but forget that money generation needs time and they can't get rich overnight. If they'd have invested in those early days, they might have made even 100-1000x on their investments on a few coins. While they're now seeing the markets when the bull run has reached its peak for many coins, it's always better to take necessary steps of doing enough research before putting even a cent on a coin.

^Take consideration on that suggestion above about accumulating on January but well its never been a precise thing for you to look upon because you couldn't tell if it would really benefit out on year end.

When it comes to trend changing then this is something totally random but basing off with the history itself then we've seen on how far we do able to reach out comparing into those last years prices

which from now then you could really tell the difference and you could really say that you had indeed make out profits if you do able to get in.
