Fantastic channel for the fashion designer as they watch the dresses, style what is currently being trending in which country sitting at the home. They can cover worldwide fashion styles watching TV as there are different shows of different countries are being telecasted.
I doubt that fashion designers watch fashion TV channels. They personally attend the screenings. These channels are used to promote fashion. It specifically focuses attention on the fact that it is not for ordinary people. Rich people want to emphasize their elegance.

I have this channel on the satellite tv in HD and if you like to watch fashion shows, beautiful women and exotic locations it is not a bad choice.Probably this program is more popular among the female population, they are more interested in the fashion than most men.Several times I saw a very interesting fashion show so I watch 5-10 minutes and move on.

The fashion industry is very strong in the world and there is a lot of money involved so it is quite normal they have tv program.First time I saw Fashion tv some 10 years ago.
Think trendy watch TV more than men. For this purpose on the fashion shows so much nudity. Men see naked and beautiful models, and there you'll see women? Styles that are impossible to wear?

I'm not quite sure exactly what you mean in your statement but nudity sells things,in this case clothing items so if you do not like nudity do not watch this channel.Beautiful models I like to see are female gender so I wrote women, what is problem with that?

Maybe in your county/opinion definition of women is only thing which born children, cooking and wash, wrapped from head to toe?

I can agree that some of clothing looks extravagant and it is not for everyday use,but people have different affinity.

Fashion tv is a good show, but it is not only about the display of new looks and trends its about the details and design and more complicated things. We can learn more things about new styles in fashion ranging from weird concepts to classical to modern. But there are things also i hate about fashion tv and that is the fashion show itself wherein some models are displaying their tits and their nipples coming out, it seems its no longer a fashion show but a semi xrated film.

I agree. Showing some parts of the body can be a good way to attract attention and sales these days and we have now models who agree that doing so can increase their popularity and worth. In fact, there are some modeling shows where nudity is fully displayed.
The worst thing that standard models of provoking women's desire for excessive thinness. Related to this is how many cases of anorexia? I think it's very detrimental to the minds of people.

Fashion tv is a great tool to keep your people "dumb". give them pointless things to worry about and discuss, and you've got yourself a lot of passive, obedient citizens. Same goes for the majority of the tv-programs you see these days. It's all fast-paced, lots of colours and flashing things to keep the attention span of the watchers as short as possible, great conditioning done there. Even scientific programs fell victim to the "infotainment" trend, in which you receive information, but in such a way that you probably won't even remember a thing from the progrgam you watched a few days ago aside from the big explosions.
Television is a system of indoctrination of the population. With it, citizens are told the necessary thoughts, and is forced to spend money on something that they don't need. The whole industry runs on fooling people.

I mean its just a distraction from whats important in life

Media subverts everyones attention to irrelevant things
The fashion industry is a lot of money. Often people who have big money do not have sufficient culture and education. Here designers and removed from them any more money.

what kind of fashion tv, there is so many channels and commercials can you be more precise? Yeah I enjoy seeing fashion and sometimes I buy the clothing that is
advertised, but I don't like watching it all the time as it gets super boring.

I think the OP is talking about this fashion tv https://www.youtube.com/user/fashiontvhotplus

I like it playing on the background sometimes. Of course I don't watch it all day long, but I like the music on the background.

For background music there are music channels and radio stations. All the fashion shows nothing more than the PR designers. See no reason to watch them. And if someone says he understands those shows new trends that I don't believe.

You may believe it or not but they design what you will be wearing in the next 5 to 10 years. For me it's interesting, although as I said I watch this channel for the background music mostly. I don't like music channels because they promote bands I hate.

Have you seen The Devil Wears Prada btw? Even if you don't like fashion it's a great movie you might like it. Below is one of my favorite quotes from the film:

Quote
Miranda Priestly: 'This... stuff'? Oh. Okay. I see. You think this has nothing to do with you. You go to your closet and you select... I don't know... that lumpy blue sweater, for instance because you're trying to tell the world that you take yourself too seriously to care about what you put on your back. But what you don't know is that that sweater is not just blue, it's not turquoise. It's not lapis. It's actually cerulean. And you're also blithely unaware of the fact that in 2002, Oscar de la Renta did a collection of cerulean gowns. And then I think it was Yves Saint Laurent... wasn't it who showed cerulean military jackets? I think we need a jacket here. And then cerulean quickly showed up in the collections of eight different designers. And then it, uh, filtered down through the department stores and then trickled on down into some tragic Casual Corner where you, no doubt, fished it out of some clearance bin. However, that blue represents millions of dollars and countless jobs and it's sort of comical how you think that you've made a choice that exempts you from the fashion industry when, in fact, you're wearing the sweater that was selected for you by the people in this room from a pile of stuff.
Things I will wear in the coming 5-10 years is not shown on the fashion shows. I wear comfortable clothes, and there is only nonsense. People watch this stuff with a straight face talk about what they do not understand only to show his difference from the crowd. I don't believe them

Now I don't have much time to watch TV and whenever I do I don't watch for such contents.

But there was a day when Mobile phones and the Internet was rare, No easy porn during my school days  and there were topless photo shoots on fashion TV.

FTV was the first boobs teacher to me.
Fashion TV does not show Tits. Their models just yet. These channels are not suitable even for this purpose. Do not understand why these channels need. Trends should be discussed by experts, and a fashion show should be for the end user.

When i see some new "fashion" on fashion tv, I seriously don't believe that even the most insane artists won't wear it...
Also, i look at todays "fashion" on fashion tv same as modern art... Pile of crap.
Mostly, Fashion shows are for the "Fashion Interested High-Class" people and Celebrities, not for the rabbles, obviously. They wear those strange clothes for special occasions, not for their normal day routine. But you are right, the clothes seem more disgusting than fashionable. I hardly digest those Tv Fashion Shows.

Also, you were right about models aren't the most pretty faces (especailly, in fashion shows). It's because faces are the least interested in the business, they would care about the way they walk, their bone structure and sizes of chest, hips, thighs, waist and legs more than face. A relativaly normal beautiful girl with awesome body would beat a more beautiful one (even if she was a beauty queen), unlike advertisments products where beauty is a main factor.

I know that, wasn't thinking otherwise in any case. I was just comparing that fashion with modern art...

To be honest I don't understand these fashion shows on TV. What they want to show? Not pretty, not practical and not comfortable. If the car exhibit I exhibit and enjoy the fashion show comes down to is designers.

That's the thing, if it was a casual clothes it wouldn't be fashion... But am I the only one that thinks that a rather large number of models there aren't that pretty? I mean they have nice bodies but their faces aren't that special at all...
Yes, fashion industry capitalizes on what is trending, what is hip and what is in. Simplicity is not a virtue any longer for fashion industry.  Fashion TV focuses on glamour, class which means money of course. It's not about beauty but its about business. In America fashion trends has caused more waste pollution since Americans wants to be in the trend always they dump tons of wasted clothings in the trash. Hope fashion TV displays and teach responsible clothing so this pollutions may be lessened if not eradicated.
