as responsible citizen what i can contribute to my city is to help assist our fellow official or leader in their plans for the betterment of our city, to follow rules and obey its policy, to maintain cleanliness in our surrounding, to keep our plants and rivers or ocean clean from decaying, throwing garbage everywhere is a "NO-No"
Join a non-profit organization. It's what I keep telling the youth from my city. Find people with mutual goals as yours and channel it to help the community.
as a student, the only way that i can contribute to my city is to be a disciplined person. by obeying the city's rules and ordinances.
With our obedient tax then we have contributed to our country. it is our little thing as ordinary citizens.

I can contribute largely in my society through sharing some change in charities, and helping out poor people in the streets by giving them food. By doing this little deeds I can help a child with his education and help starving families. Through these little things the City I live in slowly develops its society into a much better community where I can be a really good role model for the people around me.
I think the best thing that I can contribute to the society is to be a law abiding citizen. And be a model to the young one's..

My contribution to my beloved city can be not polluting it . I mean all types of pollutions like air pollution, noise pollution and environmental pollution . If people want to protect their city, they should be careful about its enviroment and should try not polluting its environment.

As an individual without power and wealth, the only thing I can contribute to my city was my prayers and participation in all community activities that will help promote enhancement in my society for the good of the people and community.
One way to contribute is to participate in our city affairs. Many people are either expecting the government to deliver what they are supposed to or just give up. We can contribute by doing small things, such as read the city annual budget, coming out to vote, show up the public hearings, etc.

I believe my contribution to my city is that i do, act and reflect what i want my city to change into. Even if my neighbors resent it or even hate it. Specifically how I drive on the road. My co-drivers don't know that they're actually breaking the law by stopping on top of the crosswalk and such
At least we can put all the garbage to the waste bins. And the city will benefit)
I think every citizen in their government is helping each other in the country they live in, such as providing taxes. almost all of the things in this country we have a tax that is paid by us, were it is a huge contribution to our share. 
Just something smple i think it can be done and should be done and its really simple, there should covered gutters and pressure sucking systems that will suuck choked gutters into the sea. Yes the sea thankfully we have the sea and year in year out we are faced with flooding problems. Quiet pathetic if you ask me but i solve this in three months when i am given the opportunity

Contribute to a city or to the world is not always about money and not always has to be rich. We can start contributing from small things like, contributing in the church, give the poor, give them food, make people smile and happy, plant a tree, clean the trash, and much more. But we should make some money, of course. We should keep our job and pursue our success, so that we can take a big part to change the city or even the world.
All I would like to do for my city is to unite people of my town. It is a big problem for my town. As everyone is using our town to build their cities. Politicians are using their positions and their possibilities to create money for them and they take all of it. That is sad thing. Our young people leaves the town and go somewhere else to live. In last 20 years our population is just going down. And we are also a main thing why our state actually stays and keep going as we are industrial center of our country.

Anyone can contribute to his city. For example, plant trees or become an investor in a new theater or museum. build a playground
For me as a student that studying Customs Administration I can contribute in many simple ways. For example like proper disposing of waste and because of that it can help my city to be clean. Or following our laws or rules and guidelines in my city. By following or doing simple things like that can be a big contribution to our city.
But when I graduate and take my license and be an official Custom Broker, I can contribute to my city is that I will not allow contraband items nor drugs to go in our City. I'll not take under the table transaction so that those contrabands will go in. Etecetera.
All I'm trying to say is that being a good citizen can be a big contribution to our city.

For me so far I have not contributed to my city but now I'm just going to be a good citizen in my city.
