I think bitcoin needs to improve its volatility to make it more profitable. And second, it needs to improve its transaction fees because it is very expensive to do transfers. And lastly, bitcoin needs to improve the speed in transactions transfer because it takes a long time to send and receive payment. So far those are the things very important to be improved in bitcoin.

Hmmm dethrone? No one has ever meet the standards to dethrone bitcoin yet. As you can see on the coinmarketcap.com bitcoin is still the number one and no one has ever meet the standards to dethrone it. Compare it to the other alt coins
Uhmm i think there is no need to improve in bitcoin but instead increase its investors, miners and spreading word about bitcoin is what it needs

Why would it even need to improve anything? Bitcoins has the safest and best system. The price and market cap are highest on the whole cryptocurrency market. How and which coin do you exactly think will dethrone Bitcoin? The fast transactions and low fees mean nothing, Bitcoin had both when he was 'altcoins age'.

Segwit implementation has successfully make bitcoin faster than before.
Maybe bitcoin need faster speed with fast block time, maybe 5 minutes or 10 minutes is good for block time.

many crypto currencies are scam, so I guess they can only promise but can not prove it. I always believe in bitcoin because bitcoin is a crypto currency tested for its authenticity. bitcoin will always be the highest crypto currency and no one can beat it.

Bitcoin need to be accepted globally.
Something like a payment method that can be used anywhere anytime.
For that case, the transaction services should be at best level. Low fee and fast.
Faucethub and Coinbase is great for increase the Bitcoin transaction service level.
But since the price is very volatile, its very hard to achieved that goal. Bitcoin is now not more that an investment product for me.
