Transaction fees is bit higher. That needs to be reduced.
Bitcoin has come under fire in the recent past, with a number of people complaining about the expenses that comes with owning the coin, the transaction speed of the coin has sowed in the recent past, coins taking unusually long to transact, this has caused loss in value when as the value of the coin might decrease before the transaction is completed, the fee paid for transaction 9is also high, making the coin one of the most expensive in the platform. These factors needs improvement as hey are making BTC lose its favor among the crypto users
Why does it need to improve something if it just exists as itself? Of course, Bitcoin has problems, but this crypto is really good. I believe it'll show its mighty soon)
I agree with you mate, why bitcoin needs improvement, we're so lucky that bitcoin exist in this world, and nobody can make things perfect, yes bitcoin has a problem but its a small problem. Overall bitcoin is the nicest and greatest of all coins.

For bitcoin to forever reign all other cryprocurriencies, the transaction fees of most exchanges and miners should be easily affordable.The price of bitcoin also needs to be fairly stabilised by all holdlers since the price fluctuations is becoming too much lately.

but I think it's not a real problem... what I'm concerned about is the centralisation deriving from mining pools...
if some day the would decide to collude they could perform a 51% attack because few pools hold more than 51% of total network power...

Bitcoin needs to improve few things which include:
1. In developing countries, there is little knowledge of bitcoin and even those that know about it there is fear of using it to trade or exchange it without loosing their money. So l suggest that if bitcoin can liase with any company that can convert digital bitcoin exchangeable with local currency and withdrawable in the ATM outlets, it will removed the fear of using it to trade in most Africa nations.

I can clearly see that there are other cryptocurrencies that are beginning to dethrone bitcoin, showing off there quick and secured transactions, though bitcoin continues to be the king. What does bitcoin need to improve state your opinions.
In my own opinion bitcoin does'nt have to improve because it gives the users most secured and fast transaction.Someone does'nt trace how much the money you've received and how much money you send.You are the only one who know that.
For me, two things come to mind in terms of improvement for bitcoin. Privacy and Use case. I feel that the intended use (means of payment) has long been overshadowed by the imposed use of bitcoin as a store of value. I mean if we look at the number of forks of bitcoin today, its ridiculous. Although some of these forks claim to be attempting to improve on bitcoin, what most do actually is ride on the wave of bitcoin by association. Of course, we can't have bitcoin with no value but i think there should be less emphasis on it as purely a store of value. Privacy is also an area that i think needs improvement because for many people, one of the attractions to crypto is the perceived privacy that it offers.

Behind the popularity and being number one cryptocurrency all over the world. There are still things that bitcoin should give more immediate attention or improve just like the privacy and security of the users which are very important especially nowadays that hackers and scmmers are active. And what if bitcoin create a crypto-currency bank and a separate payment system. To reach an agreement with other popular payment systems like a visa or mastercard, and of course to reduce the commission when exchanging for fiat and all transactions.
We are we often need or seek for something better.Others get contented and stick to the known ways while others choose to venture into something new.We can pull each coin holder to stick to bitcoin no matter how good it is.We have different ideas.We never settle for anything better.We seek the best such that we jump from one option to another.Bitcoin transaction now is verry low and the transaction fees are too high.I think it is need to improve to have a fast transaction and low fees for much better bitcoin someday.
I think bitcoin doesn't need any improvement for now because it already proven their capacity, negative news about bitcoin affects some idea of others about btc but I think instead of improvement what btc need is to refresh or remind other what they had given to the community to be trusted.

The only thing that needs improvement is the challenge of being easily manipulated. The recent crashes are most definitely not market based. Every other thing is good enough.

Bitcoin is the first ever cryptocurrency and will always exist. Different new altcoins with much better features are being developed. But bitcoin will always stay here. Bitcoin can exist as a store of value, pretty much like gold. Also with upcoming lightning Network, better transactional speed and lesser fees can be seen. It's possible that BTC may be overthrown from rank 1 position, but it won't die.
