If death is the absence of life, then I think we are already living in a post apocalyptic zombie infested world. Waking up everyday at the same time to go and slave away your life for someone else to make money and just about pay your bills isn't life. Death will probably be a release for most people from the captivity they have put themselves in to.

Death is the only inevitable event in your life, so I see no point in wasting time worrying about it's coming or what it'll be like, if anything it's a celebration of achievement. If I die and there is nothing on the other side, then that is that - I have lived, I've had a hell of a good time, and the party is over. If my mind or soul somehow carries on into an afterlife then that's great, I believe it probably does, but I'm not counting on it.

Death is not the end of the book, but it is another chapter. Your book never closes, never ends. I believe that there's an afterlife.

It is interesting how people often ask about life after death but rarely about life before birth. I think life after death is the same like life before birth. There is nothing to be afraid of.

I believe that death is the transistion between life as we know it and an after life in a religious sense. Many people do not agree with that, but many others do. I believe I will again be with my loved ones who have departed, or passed on before me.

I hate thinking about death. Makes me depressed. I love life and I love each day when I could be in this world. Therefore, thinking about the death of me does not do well. I hope you can still catch the researchers to investigate the elixir of immortality Smiley

The soul is immortal, and the physical body is its clothing. Do not be afraid of death, it's just the completion of our mission on earth in one life incarnation.

In my research Death is an achievement if you have Jesus in your heart, but if you die without knowing Him and not accept Him as your Lord and Savior Im sorry to say but you cannot enter the kingdom which is called "Heaven".   Smiley
one thing i think is worth noting, is that what happens if you dont believe in christ. in the bible it simply says that if you accept him you are saved. if you dont you will perish. but what if you believe in something else? Hindu has reincarnation, Norse have Valhalla, Greek have Hades, Egyptians have paradise, catholic have paradisio, Jewish have a slightly different heaven, as do Muslim. with all the different variation of the same place, which one is correct? is there any way to tell?they all have nearly everything in common (for monotheistic religions and poly theistic in different categories), the same stories are told, the same evidence is given, and the same truths are mixed with the same lies.

so tell me what happens if you live your life in sin without remorse, never ask forgiveness until you are on the brink of death. you know Hitler was christian, he believed in Christ and that what he was doing was justified by the bible. is he in heaven? also by that logic ghandi, someone who saved many lives, before and after death, is regarded as a great man. he believed in Christ but did not worship him. is he in hell? and what about Lincoln, he was agnostic against organized religion therefore did not believe in Christ. is he in hell? all of the worst events in history were done due to religion overstepping its bounds. i personally am agnostic atheist. meaning i believe in a higher power but also believe every organized religion is wrong.

sorry to hear that xD

Asking me for some known people to where they go after death, the answer is I don't know, only God will judge.. And I am not talking about religion, it was about what I have learned in Bible and my personal relationship between God and me. I am also a sinner, and I am still in the process of change. Im not perfect, asking forgiveness is given everytime I pray. About accepting God as Lord and Savior will not end there, it comes with an action by obeying His commandments and sharing Gospel to others. I Can't please everybody to believe and I repeat i'm not talking about religion its all about relation, because in relationship you feel the grace and mercy of the Lord by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Death is the completion of the stage, the end of the life path. Each person is given a certain amount of time to achieve life goals on earth. After death, the soul is born again in a new body and by the results of a past life gets what it deserves.

I am sorry but immortality is impossible. death is inevitable. everything decomposes. hell even while you are alive roughly every 7 years your body completely renews itself (its an ongoing process taking 7 years) meaning over the course of your life. every cell in your body has died and been replaced probably 3+ times.

death is certain but dont look at as being depressing. without darkness light would have no beauty. without death life would have no beauty. the reason you fear death is because you love life. but if you never feared death life would have no meaning. it is much better to simply accept that the end will come sometime. so live as much as you can today. have no regrets, and enjoy every second of life
