I found the White Paper here https://paragoncoin.com/whitepaper.pdf

Worth a read. Looks pretty well thought out. It will be interesting to see how the presale period goes.

I could check it for 10 minutes and I'm planning to finish it tomorrow. White papers are the most significant documents before I decide to contribute an ICO. Second part is the team members and their backgrounds. My first intention is that Paragon is a promising one.

Their website paragoncoin.com is down already the whole morning. Do you think they took an early run with the money? The project had the reputation to be a scam.

It's up and working fine. I agree the project has some questionable people involved behind the scenes but far from an outright scam. You got some public figures involved in that project.

A good read... it is a shame though.

The idea has great potential so I will continue to watch. ICOs are just not as fun as mining and speculating.

Curious to see what happens in 5 days...

Not a very original idea though, considering PotCoin. I'll be monitoring that as well but not expecting much from it...

It is really nothing like potcoin, dopecoin, or any of the others that are just trying to be a currency to buy weed with. Read the whitepaper.

Sorry I spoke a bit too fast, it is indeed a way more extensive and interesting approach to cannabis and the way it's evolving.
Can't wait to see how things will go for this !

Sorry, yeah, I just realized I was a little short in my response too. It really is a cool idea though.

Paragon will interface different connections inside the business accordingly making the whole procedure significantly more streamlined. The convention can likewise be utilized to log information relating to cannabis items, including time of reap, birthplace, natural status, CBD/THC substance, and supportability. The cannabis business is divided, illegal and dishonest right now and by giving it the energy of blockchain based smart contracts, paragon assisting with the legalization of cannabis over the world

I too saw this and read through. Very interesting and with the potential to shake up more industry services that just SUCK in their current format.

We will have to wait and see how it works out but starting with a valid business retail model and integrating a service standard change for linking Doctor/Patient/Pharmacy info in real time... that's something worth looking at.

Paragon has an interesting business model. It's different from other pot digital assets that exist today. What is most glaringly deficient is an explanation of how they're going to get doctors and clinics that prescribe pot to use the Paragon blockchain. All physicians are bound by HIPPA for privacy, security, and specific data transactions for patient insurance verification and billing. Paragon's model is complimentary and doesn't replace what healthcare professionals are doing now, however, any new tech that impacts patients has to integrate and comply with certain aspects of HIPAA and the tech provisions of the ACA.  I see nothing from the Paragon white paper that even hints that they have done any research into these issues or know that they exist. The days of walking into a doctors office or clinic and say buy my solution because all you have to do is log onto another website are long gone.

I really wish companies that do ICO's would at least have proof of concepts completed before raising such large sums of money. I'll watch this closely in the meantime.

This is getting ridiculous.

Plus there's PotCoin doing it already.

The use case for PotCoin and Paragon are totally different. Paragon intends to open brick-and-mortar locations in all 20 states where marijuana is legal. The Paragon blockchain will be used to streamline the doctor-to-patient verification and prescription process. And Paragon (PRG) coins can be used to purchase items and services at those locations. However; marijuana can only be purchased with cash as per compliance with state laws. Once the legal hurdles have been overcome, I suspect they intend to allow PRG coins for purchases.
