if after halving the prices increase with very fast i'm pretty sure that we will see panic selling happened for bitcoin prices because most people has predict that the prices will rise up after halving and that's why many people has hold their bitcoin till wait the prices will increase or down but if the prices will going down i think we won't see panic selling because people will hold more their bitcoins

Panic selling in Bitcoin typically results in the price ending up higher than before the selling started.

yeah, it has always been like this. when weak hands are shaken out and they start panic selling there is only one group waiting to buy their coins under the market value and they are whales who will then pump the price up.

at this point, nothing and if the rise continues this way -slowly and in small increments- in case of a panic selling the price can go down something like a $50 tops. and this was tested before when hearn spread those FUD about bitcoin and panic sell started.

I think yes it will affect. It may have 2 effect of course negative and positive effects. If people panic sell and sell it at lower price to its actual price it may pull down bitcoins price. But if people sell it ladderly and go higher than actual then that will be good,it will help bitcoins price rise up to its peak just like what hapened last halving

It can affect the price is there are more sellers than buyers but it will only happen if the price drops as that's the time when people will be eager to sell their coins. Until then, I don't see it happening. It took place when LTC prices dropped and there was a panic in the market.

The same happened with bitcoin.

Panic selling is not something exclusively for bitcoin. It has happened too with stocks and other aseets. It's just the way how markets works.
Nothing you can do, except try to profit from it.

When there is blood on the streets...

Panic selling happens in each market, yes. I don't see it as a bad thing as it allows me to enter the market at lower price levels. I always buy my coins when the price is dumped to the ground.

I don't see how the price will drop when the daily supply of new coins is cut in half.  The price didn't decrease after the first halving and there was no panic selling.

Panic selling will do to btc price downwards. As others see unrealized gains turn to losses they panic will do to sell as well.

Hey, why am I the only one without a sig ad here? What will do I'm missing? We make money posting this?

what do you think will happen after the halving and the price of btc increased and people started panic selling
will it affect the price of btc or not at all? because as i know if people are selling then the demand will decrease
resulting to price decrease, atleast thats what i know about normal market but i dont know about bitcoin.
what do you think?

criticism will be appreciated thanks!!!

that's not panic selling

panic selling is selling when the price drops, because they fear that the price will drop even lower (or to 0) and they want to prevent losing even more. Which is often irrational behavior, unless you really believe the stock is never going to recover (or at least not in their lifetime or before they plan to redeem it, for example for retirement). If you think the stock will recover in the future (which it almost always does if it's stock in a company that isn't going bankrupt any time soon, as companies are often either successful and growing, or unsuccessful and dying, companies are rarely completely stagnant, especially companies which are traded on the stock market.

What you mean is taking profit. And sure, it will create some selling pressure from people who want to take profit as the price increases, but by its very nature this will only slow down the rally, but not crash the price. Because as soon as the price drops below a certain threshold, the profit takers will lose interest (the price is too low to make a huge profit, so better wait for it to go up again before you sell).

i think you can still put this kind on event on panic selling, panic selling doesnt just occur when the price is dropping
it can still occur when the price is climbing, just like in bitcoin, rightnow people are buying btc to wait for the huge price
hike that will happen after the halving, and after the halving they will start selling most of the btc that they bought before the
start to decrease. if you are wondering why i said the price will decrease after the halving, i am basing this happening on the last
halving, last time the price went up to $1000 and after the hype is gone the btc price dramatically decrease which might happen
this halving, and im sure that most of the people who bought btc before the halving are expecting that too, thats why they will sell
the btc that they bought before the price started dropping just like last time. i may be wrong but here is an example when an item
is on a hype people are buying it almost nonstop( im referring to different person all over the world) and when the hype is fading
people are starting to stop buying the item as well. but in bitcoins case people are selling it after the halving when the hype is still
at its peak.

yes it can affect. because if too many people who sell bitcoin then the ratio will be reduced. people who buy bitcoin bit and it will affect the price of bitcoin. feared if too many are selling bitcoin at a time then the price of bitcoin is predicted to weaken.
It depends on the demand and supply. More buyers, less sellers or more sellers and less buyers affects the price. But here bitcoins are not just dependent on the number of sellers but even any controversy or activity like the halving affects the price else it was always stable till now. We shouldn't bother much about panic selling.

The hype of halving is causing all this pump in the price thats why after halving market will go down as it will experience lots of selling force.

Nothing at all,if some one  or a group of people will sell thier btc  with the amount of 5000btc theres no effect to bitcoin price.
Well, that's if we're talking about small scale panic selling but imagine those chinese miners dumping all their coins, it would drastically affect the value of bitcoin but others would see it an opportunity and thus comes a panic buying as well, in hopes of getting bitcoin at a low value before auto correct.

We need not bother of what's going to happen next but rather enjoy the moment. I can't see panic sellers as of now as mostly all are waiting till halving ends but there are many buyers now who want to invest in bitcoins. Till the market is stable, we need not be stressed thinking about a drop. The price has doubled after a year which means that even if the price drops, it would reach $300-$400 and not below.

If there is a chain reaction of people selling their coins in panic, then of course the price will go down. I am quite sure that we'll see this happen as soon as the block halving is over. Normal thing.

Exactly, but I think that the panic selling may even happen before the halving - it depends on how much the price rise. Remember, that last halving had a huge price rise with it, because people were not that informed, there were not many people back then involved with the bitcoin and the rise came a couple of months after the halving. The next thing that happened when we hit ~1200$ was a massive dump, but not only because of the big rise of the price, but also the news from MTGOX and the FUD that followed after it. Now is a little bit different - people are informed about the halving and as you can see the pump started ~1 month before it. So it is possible if the price continues to rise at this tempts and let imagine it hits 800-1000$, the balloon will pop. The thing that we can't predict is how high will the price go right before or right after the halving, because I think it's not the halving that will start the panic selling, but the quick rise of it, which for sure will need a correction soon after...
