Perhaps, but "pump and dump" is a kind of scam. A "pump" group is a pump-and-dump scam where the members of the group are the intended victims.

If someone invites you to join this kind of group, I would stay away from them, they would ask you to pay for a fee to provide you with a signal when to Buy and when to Sell. Its not good in trading. You see a sudden price increase of a coin that has been idle for quite sometime and for no reason price suddenly jumps up. They will start dumping when they reached their goal. Its manipulation.

Yes pump means price is high and dump mean price is down, just like as it happens in our real life crypto currency also use to increase and decrease, but pump mean people are buying more coin which is making price high, and dumping mean people are selling coins which is making price fall , but now situation remain for long time as people use it as an advantage they buy at dump and sell at pump which make profit for the investors.3

Pump and dump is just a term in cryptocurrency that only defines what is the current situations of the coin in the market. Pump and dump is just simply a movement of prices in the market which pump means getting a high value of a coin and a dump means getting a value of coin lower. I don't have any idea if is there any meaning of pump and dump here in crypto.

Pump and dump are the basic concept of rise and fall of the price intentionally.It can be done by various method such as Fake News,Whale's(These are the individuals or group who are powerful with loads of money and stakes in there hand) and due some government bans.It is mostly intentional and is done to generate lots of profit to the individuals or lot of people.But surprisingly it is the best time to buy and sell your coins to generate lots of in short span.Hope this will help you in understanding the concept.

Yes I agree on that if the price drop we can really have more opportunity to buy and hold untill the time comes that the right time to sell occur.buying bitcoin on a verry cheap price is just like waiting for a big boom,of the price and gain it is just like Amazing no one can really predict the price but everyone can really believe in bitcoin because it is really proven and tested.

Pump is when the price is increasing, usually this is where most investors sell their holdings to get some profit. On the other hand, dump is when the price falls, at this point, investors usually invest to buy cheaper altcoins.

Yes, those low volumes coins, usually before someone will call for a coin to be pump, they usually have loaded their wallet with thousand of those coins, so they have a good head start, and then they will announce it in their pump-and-dump groups, so before other members can join in those admin have already made a lot of money and usually dumps on ahead of time. So if you are a paid member, you will usually get the news and can dump it and take some profits but usually those who are left are newbies who don't know what's the deal and are left with either a lost or just a good returns and not the huge amount he/she expects.
