We live in a modern world, and it is the responsibility of those who are educated to educate those around them, because not everything in this life is learned in school. Aside from attending school, there are numerous ways to learn. We wake up each day and see new things, so learning is all around us.
In 2016, a friend of mine suggested that I come and invest in Bitcoin; I was shocked, and I told him that I would not. I thought it was all a scam, and I don't like online stuff because I don't believe in it, so I told my friend, "Okay, since you said it's not a scam, teach me about bitcoin." I did some folder research on it and discovered that it is true. My friend introduced me to bitcoin. I began learning how to trade it, and from there I began investing in Bitcoin. My investment gradually grew in my favor, and I began to enjoy the fruits of my labor. I was so surprised when my people transferred the thought I had for my friend before I joined to me. I started spreading the word about bitcoin, and while not everyone believes in it, it has made me less suspicious. Even now, most people believe it is a scam. I noticed that some of us here are raising awareness. No, charity starts at home.

I’ve recently been involved in a lot of peer to peer teaching. Word of mouth has been my tool.

Goodnight, o_e_l_e_o 🌹

I don't want anyone to know that I have Bitcoin, and only the people close to me who I would trust with my life know.

You said the matter with the delay in spreading the information and like I read comments here many don't want people to know about their involving in it for many reasons.

The burden of people losing money and looking upto you as someone who made them lose money. If I want to tell some people about Bitcoin, the keywords that will entice them are; invest, invest  rise, withdraw profits, make money and get rich. But these things doesn't go as planned, what of they come and invest and in the end market runs against them.

Apart from investment, what other thing will I tell them about Bitcoin that will interest them. It could be nothing, that is why I am not always motivated to teaching people about Bitcoin.

1. The people living in country that have ban bitcoin will not expose themselves because government not to come after them when they hear that they have it.

2. Friends setting you up in a gun point to maybe get you to transfer your hodling to them because of envy.

3. You will be careful of your life if you live in insecured environment.

Underestimate- nothing
I have put it upon my self to talk about bitcoin in my community because people in my community people don’t really understand what bitcoin is they have pictured bitcoin to be Ponzi scheme so I try as much as possible to make awareness even to the extent of taking it on air to give a basic lectures for people to actually know a little about bitcoin and am still working to do more, to give bitcoin a good picture since is build on the foundation of trust.

MAaaN...!! CUT THAT STUPID SHIT
I don't have a community in this, and I tend to close myself to discussing bitcoin issues, because once one day I talked about bitcoin problems, I was ridiculed by them, no one could provide multiple benefits. And too hallucinated with bitcoin because they couldn't provide wealth is like real investing and real work

The community or environment around us is certainly the main target when it comes to introducing awareness of bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Not easy to do, but not impossible. The most good and correct way to raise awareness of bitcoin is to provide basic education to those who are curious about what bitcoin is and what cryptocurrencies are. they initially thought of it as a digital asset that would not last long and would soon die. But until now they have witnessed that crypto or bitcoin is able to survive and is increasingly recognized.
The spread of this information is faster because social media provides help to spread bitcoin knowledge. some people in the neighborhood or community who are getting interested will continue to ask questions and find out how to get involved in bitcoin. this is a great opportunity to step in and explain in detail what bitcoin and cryptocurrencies really are.

On the bullishness of bitcoin on 2017, I've done a lot of talks to my friends about bitcoin but they've lost their enthusiasm and trust on me when 2018 came.
Well, I'm sure that others have been distrusted by their peers because  of how they're being told and got some good words about investing in bitcoin way back then.
We're not at fault on that because on my talks with them, I've told them that bitcoin is highly volatile and we don't know how long the bull run will stay.
Right now, I'm not doing anything in my community because it seems dangerous to talk about it. I don't wanna be targeted with a $5 wrench attack.

I'm not really proactive in spreading Bitcoin awareness. I have to admit this. But I'm not like this because I am not a solid supporter of Bitcoin or I do not want other people to know Bitcoin. I am like this for the sake of security. I am very much aware how some Bitcoin owners are risking not only their Bitcoin but even their lives and well-being because of openly showing to the public that they have Bitcoin. So I am satisfied talking about Bitcoin only with family and relatives and some close friends.

For me, I am asking some businesses or personal individuals if they are accepting Bitcoin as a mode of payment.
Because of this, if they are first time to hear about Bitcoin, for sure they became interested or curious, so even that very simple question, it is already a big help for Bitcoin community to gain new people.

So far, I haven't done much to make people around me raise awareness about Bitcoin. What I have done and am still doing up to now is inserting a discussion about Bitcoin's good opportunities in the future when I am with colleagues at the office. Then I also plan to sponsor every local football sports tournament.
The plan of sponsoring football tournaments is really welcoming, because in every region small groups will have their local games and conducting tournaments often. Sponsoring those tournaments and having some posters will create awareness on cryptocurrency.

My plan is almost same, whenever I meet with my school friends we used to discuss on investment. By that time I used to give suggestions on cryptocurrency. Following my words few of my friends have got interest and started investing on cryptocurrency developing their own portfolio.

My uncle knows that I have invested in bitcoin or crypto assets, he asked me to do it for him but until now I haven't told much about how this works. I haven't had enough time to explain to him about the risks, but I'm glad he's interested in investing even if not in the actual use case.
It doesn't take any special time to teach him how to get involved in Bitcoin investing. Regardless of your busy life, when your interest in investing in Bitcoin has started to grow, we must cultivate that desire by providing the simplest possible explanation.

I don't want anyone to know that I have Bitcoin, and only the people close to me who I would trust with my life know. Everyone else, when the subject comes up, I get interested in it and ask questions as if I don't know much. It's funny because there are more than one who goes as an expert because he has read two things and has no idea.
This is so me. Maybe it's because of the nature of my locality here, but once you talk of having bitcoin people see you as an already made person. And this has actually reduced my urge to educate my guys in investing into bitcoin because they feel since its an online stuff- so it's a quick to- get rich scheme. Once you say its a not that way but more of store of virtue and when you try to tell them that it's decentralized they response by saying people behind it will run away some day and some even go to extent of giving you this recent bearish stats. So for me it's kinda of hard to educate people here now about bitcoin

I don't think everyone educated has a responsibility to educate others. Sometimes people know things but are bad at sharing their knowledge with others. Sometimes people just want to chill and don't want to learn about some things. Also, the educator often becomes in an elevated position from those being educated, which can create discomfort and tensions. I think people should share knowledge when there's an opportunity for it, and also when those being taught show at least neutrality if not interest to the topic. I've worked as a school teacher for a couple of years, and I think I introduced cryptos briefly to most classes where I taught because it was something I saw an opportunity to mention and because kids actually were kind of familiar with it, at least vaguely. Of course, it wasn't about investing in cryptos, and it was a small thing that most would probably forget but some might be keen on exploring further.

I talk to people about bitcoin. They don't understand very well how it works and want to know who is behind it, as it had a supplier like the government or central bank. Then I tell them bitcoin is decentralized and has no authority behind it and that anyone can acquire bitcoin from the original source by mining it virtually with hardwares and that the total supply is limited to 21 million btcs.

But I think it is too hard to understand such things, so they end believing it doesn't make sense and that I'm probably being fooled by this bitcoin thing...

10 years ago I spread about bitcoin and other crypto in my country, using social media and youtube channel I introduced it to them until today, always many people will say it's a scam but keep going as long as it's a good job for us do.

if there are people who say bitcoin is a scam, you need to know that bitcoin is only a means of payment online, sometimes we often see fraudulent sites such as fraudulent investment sites using bitcoin payments, when the site commits fraud then people who have invested in that site will saying bitcoin is a fraud even though that site is doing the fraud not bitcoin, that's the beginning people who don't understand bitcoin always think bitcoin is a fraud, it's clear bitcoin is just a means of payment online not a business let alone anything else, my advice is don't never give up to spread any news about bitcoin to everyone and don't hesitate to ask anything in this forum for you to learn more about bitcoin, good luck

Nope, for me privacy is the top main concern in Bitcoin and I wouldn't feel comfortable if I leak my identity to anyone if I own Bitcoin or a Bitcoin enthusiast.

Most people consider Bitcoin as an investment asset, this mean if they heard someone hold Bitcoin, that's person is an investor and rich. Many people will act good in order to get money from him or trying to know his way to get much money. This will increase a blackmail or terror on his social media, moreover he could be targeted by $5 wrench attack. Are you want to teach Bitcoin to your community, but you're risking your life at the same time? Not worth it.

Much efforts from my end had not been put together towards bitcoin adoption as at recent, why is probably because of the environment i found myself and i believe this is mostly the likely possibility for most people as well, what will the people say about you, this has been a common challenges especially with those living in a remote areas, how to convince them to digital network like bitcoin for an investment and currency is now a tideous task because of the past experience they had with bounties and ponzi scheme, if the environment looks uncondusive enough then it will be wise to exercise patience and apply wisdom.

This is what we are meant to keep doing, to enlighten people about Bitcoin and how one could invest in a long term basis. Crypto is one of the treasures we have in our time and many people that had taken it seriously are the big crypto traders and influencers we are seeing now. The market is huge with so many opportunities we can benefit from without having to bother ourselves much on some certain things.

We just need to tell people about the wonders of Bitcoin even now that the market is dip giving everyone the opportunity to buy as much as they can buy without having to ponder on when the market is going to be bullish.

Is that all you know about bitcoin? Should we teach Bitcoin to our locality the way your friend thought you? What if we encounter inpatient people and they come for our necks when they don't see returns on investment from Bitcoin maybe due to Bitcoin?
I am once in this situation before and the problem is that 95% of all newbies are not ready to learn to understand the cryptocurrency system their impression is that Bitcoin is always about making money.
The only way I use to raise awareness of Bitcoin is through the merch I did with the logo of BTC and the words saying it is the future money.

However, I don't really like to entice people to invest. I believe bitcoin is valuable and will continue to become more so. However, I don't like to try to coerce people into it, because ultimately they should choose their own investments.
Investing in bitcoin is really risky because of its volatility, I think that's why many people are afraid to share it with others to invest. But I think there is no need to talk about investment when it comes to bitcoin apart from being an investment bitcoin can also be a currency. I don't want to brag or let people know I'm a bitcoin investor, but when anyone asks, I'm always ready to help. I can only share with them the basics of bitcoin like how bitcoin is different from fiat, how to create a wallet address, how to convert to fiat...As for investing, I can only say learning on youtube or on social networks, I don't think I have enough knowledge to teach them how to make money in this market.

Im done with sharing which i do have some bad experiences when i do tend to share up Bitcoin wayback in 2016 onwards and since those times which hyip investments are that rampant then lots of

them had ended up on getting scammed and they are pointing fingers at me on what i had shared up which i do basically explains on what is Bitcoin and not to those common hyip or scams around.

People are way too greedy which they do end up on messing their money just they do put all of their hard earned on something which they do believe that could make them rich
which ending up on a disaster. Now, i dont have the interest on explaining on others about it.
