Needless to say, on that 148.2F day, I was given the choice of whether I felt "safe" working that day or not. My answer was obviously a "Fuck no!"

That's a good idea to use it as a file server, if the motherboard supports RAID1 or RAID5. My problem is that the my dedicated rigs are all out in the storage room and it's HOT out there, when I touch the bare hard drives they nearly burn my hand, so I wouldn't want to put important file storage into that environment (I hear hot = bad for HDD's Wink

one of my rigs was already my email server and download box running headless anyway. another was/is a file server and another my HTPC (using the onboard graphics as the main display). all of them were always on before I started mining
