I invest in altcoin which the development of the project is working well with solid team, the purpose of the altcoin, community and what they offer to address certain issues that haven't been done by another project. But the problem is there's lot of altcoin in the market and i have not enough time to read all of their whitepaper.
But i also bet with my little capital on some undervalued altcoin that might have possibility to grow hundred times in the future. I bet on btcz and html5coin.

well the thing which encourages me to invest in altcoins is that I want to increase my portfolio in bitcoin and altcoins help me to do that but you have to careful because altcoins are a bit risky.
When I want to invest on altcoin I will certainly see first what a project will do, and certainly has a good concept or reasonable. Having a large community of people who support the project. A team of developers who have good experience in their field.
To encourage me to invest in altcoin is probably the project and the developer, even the altcoins that it has a potential to pump in the market i will going to invest it for my profit.
Very good question! Personally, I look at the token utility obviously along with the concept and progress. One factor I look at, how the team interact with the community before and after the ICO, I guess nothing much to do with the project but it says something about it.

Investing in alternate coins other than bitcoin depends on how much is the owner willing to risk because there are alternate coins that might just have a high value right now and some alternate coins might have low value right now and gain their value or higher value in the future and that will give the investor profit and all he did was wait and buy some alternate coins.

Project, Team, Whitepaper, Allocation Fund. Maybe allocation fund is not important but i am use it as alternative research in it, But the most important on it is Whitepaper, read adn research cerefully to find this project will grow in future or just short-term project

It's pretty easy, the perspective of the company and their bright future. Once you hold some alt coins you are part of the company.
Most important for me is professional team. I hate it when the team engages with petty arguments on Twitter, ban supporters who question decisions and have a bad attitude towards naysayers. A team should be able to argue why their coin is worthy of investment, not ban anyone who questions its fundamentals.

The one that encourage me to invest in altcoin is the great value and the popularity of it, also the integrity and the reputation of altcoin is also a good backround on why me and other people wanted to invest in altcoin, now people are relying to altcoin if btc is not in good situation. For me those things encourages me to invest in altcoins, also ethereum and ripple does.
