yes, 10 days hold with coinbase really sucks. But at least you can withdraw back to bank account after 1-2 days in my case, but only with the high transfer fees of 1.5%.

Really useful, thanks! Now I`m thinking what to choose, your variant is not bad)

Okay 10 days hold ? I would never use such things the price would ofcourse fluctuate and then you would need to consider +/-  this is not how trading works.

I believe you are mistaken.  ACH withdrawal from Coinbase to your bank account is FREE in the U.S.

You only pay a 1.5% fee if you are attempting an "instant transfer" to a credit or debit card.

Perhaps your bank is charging you that 1.5%?  If so, you should consider switching to a better bank.

Wrong. I am transferring to attached bank account and the fee is over $100 to transfer to the bank account, which I divided by bitcoin value being transferred and it comes to 1.5%.

Yes but p2p online is much higher risk.

Not necessarily. Just look through the posts on the currency exchange board, you'll find plenty of trusted people there. I'd be more careful using LBC or Paxful though, since a lot of people buy/sell their accounts.

Instant? usd? or usdt? if usdt you may buy it at binance, you just need to send your kyc and after 2hrs of waiting you will enjoy the p2p feature of it, I enjoy using it because before i need to transfer it in many wallets just to convert it in our currency but now I can directly send it to my card or local exchange wallet without worrying that it might encounter any network congestion and it offers lower fees so try it if you want. Buyers and Sellers there are legit and worry free.

I bought from Coinbase, but there is a 10 day hold on it, so it's stuck in there for that length. Considering that, I would not buy from coinbase again if there is a better option without such a long waiting period. Is there a faster and better way (besides P2P)?

Go for a local exchange. Try Zebpay , it was for India first but now it have started accepting customers from all over the globe I did start my crypto journey with Zebpay and it has been incredible since now I can buy and sell instantly and if it gets struck I just cancel the trade and refresh. Nothing better than that for me .

Explore more local options !! For right now I can just tell you about Zebpay since I have been using it since years still no problem their customer support is also very nice and at the same time their prices are also competitive.

( On a side note they are fighting against the Indian government in regards to banning Cryptos in India which I personally think is amazing , to hire a lawyer and to represent themselves in the court is no small feat , so I have literally a lot of respect for them for doing such things )

Try biki exchange and other exchanges around there are lots of them which have no waiting time trading is instant and without hindrance. You are the first am hearing exchange having up to 10 day waiting time.

It's 9 days hold actually, but nearly/effectively 10 days. I have 6 days left now.

The hold isn't for withdrawing to your bank account for the high 1.5% fee. It's only held for sending to another wallet or exchange. It confirmed in 1 day after asking for additional verification to withdraw back to my bank account with the second 1.5% fee (1.5% to add to coinbase from bank account too).

Guys ! You have to find a new exchange, this is not only exhausting but you might loose a huge sum if you are not going to hold it for the long term.

There are pretty exchanges that does that for first depositors becasue of their potential to scam fellow members, but this is always the case of first timers. Have used an exchange that kept my funds for upto two week before i was able to get verified for trade with members, but among this, i wouldn't encourage anyone to get into such but to use the p2p for more easier way to transact.

P2P is even a higher risk unless you know the person in real life.

I use two exchanges i.e. binance and cex.io, i personally love binance for trading. Alot of good coins get registered on binance, its very reliable exchange, easy to use interface, secure and great helpful team.

Binance is fine, of course.

BUT I wouldn't trade in Cex.io now. They were ok a few years ago, but now the userbase and trading volumes are declining daily. So I wouldn't keep any significant amount there.

Remitano can satisfy your need of instant trade. Click on Buy now or choose the offer you like its rate, and send your payment to the trade partner, your bought order will be done very quick.

It takes a few minutes from your side to finish your trade (if you buy bitcoin).
If you sell your bitcoin, click on Sell now and it will be finished instantly. The next step you must do: withdraw your fiat from Remitano to your bank account. You can add some bank accounts in your Remitano account but they all have to be registered under your name.

Without telling us about your country, you will get general answers, the best of which are P2P trading or use Bisq.
use Google to find services and ask here for users reviews.
The payment method will determine the waiting times, but as long as you will get the same value on the date of payment, waiting for several days will not be a problem.
You are a beginner so look for reliable methods first, regardless of fees and confirmation times, and over time you will discover better ways to buy and sell.

^ P2p is the best exchange because it did not ask about your personal identity and I suggest, BISQ exchange.
You can have your own research and I will give you this link to choose which is the better one, https://www.thebalance.com/best-places-to-buy-bitcoin-4170081. Nevertheless, since I don't know which country you are in, try to look at any local exchange that you will probably use. Because as I know it is easy to buy and sell BTC on the local exchange.

Are you from the U.S? If so, you can try Kraken. The processing times are 0-1 business days: https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000381846-Fiat-currency-deposit-options-fees-minimums-and-processing-times-

If you're going to deposit fiat for the first time, then you'll be subjected to a 72 hours withdrawal hold.

Vave.com - Crypto Casino
If you don't like P2P transactions and willing to save your time, then you can directly buy from the seller or just meet up with the seller. It seems you are from the USA, and probably you will find many DT user on the "Currency exchange" board who are located in the USA, Find out anyone trusted of them and buy from them by making a public thread on forum. Before making any transition make sure is he a DT or not and must check his trusted feedback and previous exchange history.
Whats been briefed in the above post seems to be the right way to buy bitcoin. Most of the trusted members of the forum have the service of exchanging bitcoin for PayPal. Good is to have your funds loaded to the PayPal and contact one of the trusted memeber. More users will be posting on the services section to buy and sell bitcoin in exchange for different payments. If you doesn't have trust over any of the users, then you can request escrow.

BTC price road to $80k
If you don't want P2P there is another way to buy bitcoin without waiting but the problem only for selected areas.
Try to check this map and maybe there is Bitcoin ATM near your area check it here https://coinatmradar.com/

If it's too far then you don't have any other option and you are living in the US then try the cash app look at this
- https://cash.app/help/us/en-us/3101-buying-bitcoin

Then you can send BTC to an external wallet without waiting.

If it doesn't work then you don't have any other option so use P2P instead.
