They don't want to take the risk. In investing you always have to risk. Another factor is they think bitcoin will scam there investment because of what heard in the media or friends. Or factor that the market is not that good and it makes them not to invest because of the fall of the market
One of the factors is the fear of losing money since cryptocurrency price are not stable and most still fear the ban by their countries since government has not officially declared it legal.
The loss of investors ahead is a significant factor that makes investors fear it. There are a lot of investors losing money when investing in Bitcoin when the price is over $ 15,000. When you see the losses of the previous investors, new investors will not be involved in the market.

First of all there are many factors which are attracting people towards Bitcoin because by seeing the price change of Bitcoin between 2013 and 2017 the people got attracted to Bitcoin and they are also going to invest in Bitcoins but with the recent price fall of Bitcoins and watching others to get lost because of Bitcoin they are getting afraid to invest in Bitcoins as because most of the people are trying to do long term investment so they fear if the Bitcoins get to an end in future... So they don't want to take risk.
I sure bitcoin has come a long way but yet still there are several reasons which really scare people from investing in bitcoin. And to me the key aspect is the legal issues concerning the bitcoin. The problem of hackers is also a major factor that affect bitcoin investing. And lastly, i think most invest are of the view that bitcoin is a money making machine so they really become scared when prices goes down. I believe it about time we really know the legalities of what really participate as investors.

Surely there are other reasons why someone does not want to invest in bitcoin.
