Free spins all the way, it's like having free money given to you although you can only use it to spin in slots, not to mention that it will up your chances of winning something big because you have more time playing.

Nothing in the world is free. These free spins are paid by you in a different way, this is a typical bonus that is given to you at your own expense. I agree that it’s nice to get it, but it’s naive to believe that it’s free. I think it is necessary to compare the general conditions, it is likely that where there are many "free" spins, other options are much worse.

I'm also for free the spins all the way. There is something powerful in the word "free" it's  like the word "sale" when shopping. Free spin sis all worth it to take a risk. You can play it for free without spending a centavo, but I do believe it's something strategy. They won't doing it without advantage/s. They will offer free spins and when they caught our attention people tend to play it again and again. They earning by that strategy but our chances of winning is also getting bigger.

In most slots, good winnings are done thru Free Spins compare to manual or auto betting. I've noticed that part. A minimum of around 10 free spins is already a big help per session.
But if the RTP isn't right, the possibility of you reaching those free spins bonus games decreases. So, it's all connected you see. If the RTP is higher, you have a greater chance to land those required scatters to get into the bonus rounds.

I always choose slot machines with at least 90% RTP rate so that there will be a higher possibility to get back and win some of the money I bet on the machine.
A Return to Player rate of 90% is horrible. A general consensus states that you shouldn't play anything below 95-96%. If we take into account that some of the most popular casino games have a house edge of 0.50-1.50%, playing a slot with a 96% RTP means a 4% house edge. That puts you in a much greater disadvantage compared to the house. Those numbers are raised drastically if you play the kind of slots you mentioned with rates of around 90%.

Whether we like it or not, slot games are some of the most popular games in casinos. That is the case with physical casinos as well as online casinos. Some of the reasons why they are so popular are that they are simple to learn and play, and they offer immense payout potentials and jackpots.

In this poll, I’d like to know how this forum’s players select which slot games to play? What feature is most important to you?

•   The RTP percentage determines the average return to player rate of a game. The higher this rate is, the bigger the possibility to earn profits.
•   Volatility varies from slot to slot. Low volatility games offer regular wins in smaller amounts, whereas high volatility games pay less frequently but in larger amounts.
•   Free spins and bonus games. Slots with wilds and scatters award players free bonus rounds with increased potential to profit. Some games also offer an expensive buy feature that gives you straight access to bonus rounds.
•   The more paylines a game has, the more winning combinations are available to the player. But more paylines also equal higher stakes.
•   Progressive jackpots can earn players returns of several million dollars. But to be eligible for the highest payouts, you are often required to play with maximum bets.
•   Each game developer has his own unique style, design, and interface for his games. Are the graphics, designs, and layouts something essential in the slots you play?

When I play slot games, I like to try my luck with low to medium volatility games with RTP rates above 96%.

You are allowed to vote twice and select two features you like the most.
Please keep the discussions clean and on-topic.

My personal picks are the RTP percentage and the free spins and bonus games.

I always choose slot machines with at least 90% RTP rate so that there will be a higher possibility to get back and win some of the money I bet on the machine. I think this strategy is good enough to secure some cash backs. Next would be free spins and bonus. I utilize this feature on every slot machine because as the description says - it's free! This feature is what I enjoy the most in playing slot games because I can place a bet without taking out money on my own pocket. And the best and my most favorite part is that if I manage to win using the free spin/bonus game, I can still get and be paid with real cash. Easy money in other word since I played it free, I enjoyed it, and I was able to generate money from it.

2)Free spin and Bonus: This is something associated with human nature because when we get something extra at same cost we would not loose it.

I don't consider RTP as the main reason when others are looking for slot games. They didn't even know that beforehand and that's the reality by most of the gamblers. It's more that they looked for Free Spin and Bonus because who else doesn't want it regardless of the RTP.

In most slots, good winnings are done thru Free Spins compare to manual or auto betting. I've noticed that part. A minimum of around 10 free spins is already a big help per session.

There are many things which we need to look before gambling on any slot games and If we talk about your poll then my two options are:

1) RTP: This is top most feature to look while playing any slot game because it determines your profit ratio and how much you can win and you can place you net according to that much.If we don't have any idea of how much returns a particular game is offering on win there is no fun In playing.Curiosity and excitement increases with RTP.

2)Free spin and Bonus: This is something associated with human nature because when we get something extra at same cost we would not loose it.

It is great way to find out what other fellow players are looking in slot games and how do they perceive their gambling habits.

Somehow it turns out my choice is in the most choices of Voters. What is true because most of us also like or need free spins and other bonus games and also graphics, layouts, and/or the game developers that are more user friendly?
Indeed, both of them are very important at least to attract our attention, draw the gamblers to focus more, and interested in the game slot.

The Best Tipster on the Forum!!
What i like and want to see in slot games is that they have a chance to win free spins/bonus game and a chance to win a certain jackpot.Other normal paying games really do not attract me when it comes to slots

that means playing the games that have the lowest house edge possible,

Not a bad idea but playing in a lowest house edge as possible isn't a basis that their slots does have a higher return to player percentage.

Almost all slots are known to have a low RTP and has a high house edge so basically, we are just relying on how lucky we are on that game session.

When it comes to gambling to me it is always about the money, I do not care how entertaining a slot machine may look if the amount of money that on average gives me back is very low, I am a player with a small amount of capital and I want to get the most fun that I can out of that capital and that means playing the games that have the lowest house edge possible, and if this means that the game does not look as flashy as others I do not really care as I'm going to get my fun anyway.

I have to say, "Free spins and bonus games" are most definitely my most biggest magnet to any Slot. You play for hours, just to hit that Free Spins ..so that you can get back your money or profit big.

Yes, the RTP (Return to player) is also very important, because it will determine how long you will be able to play. I gamble for entertainment and to pass the time... so I want a high RTP to extent my playing time. Just the other day, I played for a few hours in a Brick n Mortar casino, with a mere $200. ( I chat with other people and I drink and eat and have a great time )  Wink

For me it would be the free spins and other bonus games and of course RTP.
I want to try their free spins to experience their slot games before spending my own money in their site.
You might have gotten confused by the term 'free'. The spins aren't free, and you have to stake real money to get to the point of reaching the free spins bonus rounds. Some developers allow you to buy the free spins round straight away for approximately 100 times the value of your stake. The only time spins are actually free is when the casino gifts them to new members as part of their welcome package. In my experience, those kind of free spins have to be played at minimum bets and come with high rollover requirements.

This is a nice poll.
I chose volatility and there are only 3 of us who had the same answer.  Grin
High volatility if I am to choose between the two. I'd like to win big in the long run than earn little by little which mostly ends up in losing more.
Also it creates more excitement for the game. Like every spin is a chance for a jackpot. Newbies could also have the perception of having the "beginners luck" and will play more. A win on both casinos and gamblers. They need players while we need more jackpots.

Like most of you guys here that commented, I would highly prefer if a gambling site I am planning to spend my money on could provide something back to its players, like maybe a free spin or a spending milestone with generous rewards. I also look for the legitimacy of the site, and most of the times how the site look like gives this away. If the site well-made and is pleasing to the eyes, you bet they spent a lot of time and money creating it and wouldn't have the balls to scam their players.

I'm a sucker for free stuff, so when I play virtual slot games what I usually look for is if the site has free spins or bonuses when you reach a certain spin milestone, otherwise I opt not to waste my money in there. I also check however if the site looks good, because it gives you this sense of legitimacy because you knew that the owners invested money in the site and would not pull a fast one on you for a quick buck.

Great one Pmalek!

I chose Free spins and Graphics, designs.

I know that both volatility and RTP are important. I generally don't even bother with low-RTP games, that's why I didn't select that obvious choice for me. As for volatility, it really depends on my mood. However, I've always loved visually attractive games like 3D slots from Betsoft or NetEnt's most popular picks. So, that's why I selected that option. And free spins and bonus rounds are also another no brainer I'd say. We all hope to trigger the bonus round and we hope it's an exciting one.

Btw, if someone's wondering why I didn't choose jackpots. Well, I don't believe that I have a chance to hit a massive jackpot and not many progressive jackpots games look good and so I don't bother with that too much. I like the WowPot games by Microgaming, though. I don't really care about the paylines either. Some slots impose too high minimum bets due to their numerous paylines, so that also depends on the playing budget I'd say.

That's my take. Can't wait to see what the final results will be.  Grin

Yes, I've played that kind of slot. It's really cool that when you get a winning combination, you don't have to worry about the placement of the cells on the same line. I also like the fact that after a winning combination, these cells are burned and new ones appear on top. It's a bit like Tetris.
