Final Fantasy VII soundtrack was amazing.

I remember when I played Silent hill for the first time well that was a nerve racking experience and I think that might be one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard in a horror game.

I loved the music of an old console game, the first Sonic the hedgehog for Genesis/MegaDrive, expecially the marble madness levels.
Didn't skyrim win some kind of award for its soundtrack? The soundtrack is fantastic and relaxing, makes the game that much better. Dota 2 also has a nice soundtrack, nothing special.
Psyko Fox. from the Sega Master Sysstem
Heavy Rain has one of the most beautiful soundtrack in a videogame. Painful memories (a track on this OST) is a true piano masterpiece, unfortunatly the composer of the OST (norman corbeil) is dead some months after the release of the game.
For me Zelda has one of the best soundtracks ever.
Ah yeah, you're right. Even the typical Zelda jingle in all its forms brings back so many memories. The music is just perfect for the epic worlds with all their different settings and feelings.

Super Mario Land. Awesome Game and it always brings me back to my childhood. I knew all the tunes by heart! Heck, I still do, actually!
It must be final fantasy series.
