in my opinion it's been too long especially since it's been 5 months if until now there is no update and at all it is most likely indeed dead, but if there is a message or update updated via email or social media over the past 5 months maybe it's still preparation or maybe there are still obstacles that can't be resolved yet,

People had discovered how fake they are, I'm not surprised either that they have been inactive since February, there were lots of ico that they rated almost 100% good which turns out to be a scam, that's why I like icodrops they don't list anyhow projects on their site, they are maintaining their integrity
they seem to only prioritize projects that pay them without seeing whether the project is good or not, I haven't visited their website in a long time, because I haven't seen an ico / ieo review on their website anymore, and hopefully icodrops can choose a good project for them put on the website list

I thought that they already left and has to declare the closure of the website. But as I've visited them, they are still alive and even have some featured ICO on their front page.

Suddenly since February, it has remained inactive. No reports, no new ICOs. Nothing.

Is it dead?

Icobench played a big role in many ICO projects that went side ways in 2017 and again they start manipulating projects rating, they can't be trusted and many investors realized that after losing much money, ICO era has come to an end
not only icobench but almost all rating sites also do this...
now it is very difficult to make rating sites a good bounty benchmark, almost all they provide are ICO scams, searching and researching themselves, which ICO we want to follow is the best way now.

I hope ICObench is not dead because this is the place where I look for reviews of ICO that I'm interested to support. My guess is that maybe there is no good ICO to review that's why it's quiet these past months.

You should do a lot of research not because There is no new ICO to review but because no ICO is paying them anymore to get good reviews and ratings, in their heyday, there are a lot of bad reports that they accept money for giving good reviews and high rating to projects that turn out to be scams, they become scam promoter because of their being a paid shill.
Theyve ruined up their reputation but to think that it was just a good call for them to accept while it last because ICO turn out to be shit after several years.Im not saying that the thing they had done was right

but they might really intended it since from the start. Projects turns out to be scam in most cases and they had made some money out of that time and even if they do make their

service as honest as  possible then they wont still exist as of these years because ICO is no longer more a thing or doesnt get that much serious attention at the moment.

I believe their owners has been changed, The new owner are not that much active in the market or they have spending clients funds on leisure activities.

No matter what the reason is, this place is pretty much dead to me since ICO nowadays arent really taking off much a hit.

I used to visit this website regularly. They were among the top ICO websites at the height of the industry boom. Many sites had cashed in on the trend of listings fast...
To be fair ICObench had its fair bit of accusations. Potential fake reviews, heavy criticism on who they approved as reviewers and they likely turned a blind eye to paid reviewers too.

Now that the ICO boom is over by all means, they are likely figuring out how they could re-optimize their business. Probably there weren't many avenues to continue operation after business dropped and revenues couldn't sustain their costs. Likely they fired the few employees they had and the owners milk on the some income for the ads. Maybe after the pandemic it could make a comeback as a different business. Or maybe not. The owners maybe because rich and didn't care to upkeep the business anymore.

I think after the popularity of IEO , STO and IDO , ico rating sites are no more in demand. I think either they are reinventing the site or have left the project.

Icobench should be out of business, I don't expect anything new from them because people have seen how untrustworthy rating websites are, investors prefer doing research themselves now rather than checking rating websites

Icobench dot com is alive and running perfectly but with low updates, I guess this is happening because there aren't new ICO projects anymore, IEO took over but icobench team aren't that showing interest

they arent dead because thier site is still functioning i just check it now because i got curious .  for me dead means the site was totally offline but if the site is still working that means they still have a plans  . not familiar with the site but they say its a review site for ico , means they must review all kinds of ico and not just the good one . they shouldnt be biased because people will doubt on them . not seeing a good ico to review isnt the reason why they dont give updates

If a business doesn't receive contract for a long, what do you think would happen to it? It's going to shut. Rebranding is the best option here because if they continue to expect to get an ICO that will will list on their site, they might not get any, and they will run out of money because they will pay their workers and do maintenance.

Good thing that ICObench completely shut down for good. The only left with strong rating site is ICOdrops and also they are active on telegram channel and keeps sharing news and article on different cryptocurrent events. I like how they handle more than this rating site.

Basically yeah but they had a very comfortable way of finding and tracking ICOs.
I used it more often before to check ratings of the projects but seen how unfair their ratings given stopped it a long time already.

Considering they were basically a paid promo site for ico's, no wonder they're out of business.

Only 1 in 10 ico's today is legit, and scam ico's (those cheap scams mind you) don't invest money anymore in fake reviews.
