I think SIA will have a strong year in 2018, and everyone who decides to hold it will be very happy with the results. I know I plan on holding on to mine for the long term.

Why? their github looks pretty active to me, with latest commit done today, it actually looks more active than 90% of altcoins.

SIA is the future. At some point there was a tough competition and war between SIA & STORJ regarding which one is better. Now you see already STORJ is way behind with a daily trading volume of less than half a million, whereas the trading volume of SIA is hovering around 20 million, which is pretty low for SIA. And market cap? SIA is 11 times bigger than STORJ already.

Lots of sia were sold to purchase the Obelisk. Sia has bottomed out basically. Not bad to buy some at 400 sats!
You should see it as an oppurtunity get cheap Sia because it is very good coin.

Because I see no "good news" pumpers can use, and also because we are on a downhill, I sold at around 473 and buying back at 360. Sia will continue to fall until one of these two things happen.
In the meantime invest in short trades where it only takes 1-10 BTC for it to move 10%. Potcoin is one of these - go look at the depth graph on Poloniex. Then I'm taking all my short term earnings and re-investing back into Sia.

Generally, it's never been a good idea to sell at a loss any altcoin, except the bottom percent that anyone can identify as crap.
