What do you expect from Dogecoin? Be honest, the coin has been made as a joke to start with so it's hard for anyone to take it serious. The fact that it's already worth hundred million is staggering and confuses most people including myself. The development around the coin is not as active as with other projects and what are the long-term plans for it's development? Are they planning any important updates that will give them some sort of competitive advantage? I don't think so.

Doge coin is one of the popular alt coin . One can find it almost in every gambling websites , but what has happened to it ? it just continues to drop down day by day and now it almost 24sat. Is it a good investment or the coin is going to die?
Yeah indeed it's very true, for me also dogecoin is a coins that was popular and its name was so familiar to hear from altcoins, and often found in various gambling sites. Well maybe less support from certain parties, and many people who are more interested in coins that has been welcomed by many investors and ultimately ignoring dogecoin till dogecoin is not desirable to invested and the price continuous to decline. But regardless of that.. I think it doesn't rule out the possibility this coin can moving higher on its price at another time, and still can be used as an investment, but it seems the right investing in this coins is for a long term.

As far as I know they are limitless, there is no limit, anyone can save himself how much he wants. The question is why they are needed, they are in the market, but their popularity and price is reduced to zero, so soon they will be completely destroyed.

Doge is already on its floor.  It has a very huge support levels and its so hard to buy bidding from its 15sats dip. So I place again a buy entry from 15 and 16sats waiting to hit my entry if theres an altcoin dump.

DOGEcoin is an almost free way to send funds between exchanges without paying high fees.  Most exchanges have it.

It has been dying since it suffered a huge dump in the last four months, it was one of the most succesfull coins that have ever existed because they had a lot of support from the Asia countries like China and Japan, but they started to stop using this coin because it had no value.. and it is true, it was only used for giving some tips and some rewards in giveaways all around the internet.
Not it has been going down for more than x3, it is a very quiet coin, i would not put a dollar in there because it is always going down.

Doge is a successful coin in terms of use but not in terms of an investment. It was supposed to used to throw around and send to people as a tip etc. In this sense it is more successful than BTC which people are just storing for value rather than spending.

Actually we don't know what's really going on with doge coin, but I think this drop is attenuated by several factors, such as a lack of interest in doge coin and many people who panic because a few weeks ago there was bad news from China.

I think dogecoin price will never grow up.It's less than 30 satoshi each dogecoin it's a poor price i have ever seen.I remember when they were upto 300 satoshi each, that was the glory for this coin. But now it's price is not a good position. If i can predict that it's future will not be well at all. So we should work with bitcoin and ETH altcoin related all coins.

What is happening to the coin is exactly what should have happened to the coin the week/month it was created. It's creator (Billy Markus) made Dogecoin as a joke (I guess the joke is on you).

It was never supposed to be a legitimate cryptocurrency. In fact, it's founder just recently claimed the whole cryptocurrency world is a scam.

There is also 111 billion dogecoins in circulation, so naturally inflation is a problem. When you have 111 billion of something useless, it's bound to eventually be worth nothing.

But I am of course, bias, as I have always thought Dogecoin was a complete waste of time. So take what I say with a grain of salt.  Wink

You're free to think whatever you want. But from those "news/statements" I see bullshit. You know why? simply bc if he is telling the truth, then crypto is done.
Should I sell my cryptos? I think not.
People like to talk about "coins's purpose". Guess what. Coins have no purpose, neither technology. Humans do.

I'm not sure where the bullshit is ... Jackson Palmer (co-creator & "brain" behind the stupidness of Dogecoin) is one of the most outspoken anti-crypto people in the world. Here is an article from NY Times regarding his views on crypto: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/09/15/business/cryptocurrency-bubble-doge.html

He may be wrong, but he said all the things in the article -- And it appears he is "telling the truth" (his legitimate perceptions).

I didn't bring up the creators of Dogecoin to doom and gloom the crypto world -- I brought him/them up to portray how ridiculous they are and to offer a suggestion as to why a crypto that was made as a joke based upon a meme has no legitimate future. Simply put, Doge has no future, because it wasn't ever intended to have a past or a future. It's like me coming up with a clever "why did the chicken cross the road..." joke and marketing it as a crypto. The concept makes no sense and it's completely absurd.

But you are correct in one thing you said ... I am free to think whatever I want. And I think Dogecoin is about as ridiculous and pointless as it was intended to be.

Good luck with your investments.

Dogecoin has no futures as long as the dev dont want to upgrade their software. Doge coin was created to be fun coin and got hype suddenly. Just dont put your money in to it untill there is announcement from dev to upgrade it or adds the feutures on it. Plenty coin has great feuturs nowadays not just hype pump and dump.

Read above opinions about dogecoin but my opinion is different on dogecoin i dont think dogecoin is going to die . it has been among one of the mainstream coins for payments (as the transaction is pretty fast) there is not much to talk about features of dogecoin but it has been here from a long time and its going to stay here for a long time in future too. recently many good coins have seen their bottom and dogecoi is one of them . additionaly its founder made some comments on cryptocurrency which did not went down well for dogecoin i think .

I don't think doge is going to die either.

Part of the reason the gambling websites all accept doge is because people are happy to spend it. And they're happy to spend it because it is an inflationary coin. People hoard bitcoin and spend doge.

Bitcoin Forum > speculation >Search > dogecoin > Search Results

20-30 Threads of Doge in bitcointalk  and always ask the same questions and answer !
why do people never search the forum?  is the search function so hard here? I think otherwise would not be 20 threads on the same topic

Hey, don't forget always the same trolls/haters before the... storm Roll Eyes

Do you care or did you invest in doge? If you are interested in trash coins, really there are a lot of better coins with some features and teams in the market. I think doge is one of the worst coins in terms of investment.

If it was capped it would have done decent I guess. Its kind of sad to see one of the long runners going down hill in this fashion, without a paddle.
Supply definitely killed the coin, hopefully a lesson for other altcoin.
