this is meaningless, this hige transaction was made @ 2011...

Smiley so I checked only first from the list and it has nothing to do with this case Smiley

Wrong, it has all the meaning in the world.. The point is that it was made in 2011 when it was known to be Mt.Gox money. Hasn't moved, much.

Gox lost the private keys.

Not really, if there's any truth to what Mark Karpeles has said earlier about how they handle private keys.

It APPEARS ( Huh) that 90,000 of the bitcoin (~$49million USD) are sitting in these 2 wallets untouched:

https://blockchain.info/address/1cXNTyXj4xPGopfYZNY5xfSM1EPJJvBZV

https://blockchain.info/address/1P3S1grZYmcqYDuaEDVDYobJ5Fx85E9fE9

do we know gox own these?

See here:
http://letstalkbitcoin.com/the-ghost-in-the-machine-at-mtgox/#.UxI-KuNdUhN

Pretty compelling.

If you add up all the wallets that are mentioned in this thread, it's ~270,000 bitcoin ($154.5million).

Where did you find those 3 wallets? Any source that they are GOX owned?

https://blockchain.info/tx/3a1b9e330d32fef1ee42f8e86420d2be978bbe0dc5862f17da9027cf9e11f8c4

This is a transfer Mark Karpeles has done back in 2011 to prove he had the funds under his control. Those wallets are found following this chain, in my view those would still be Gox's cold storage wallets.

We need partner with these folks and their current database to build on to trace the money.

So with those 3 added to the 2 above, 210,000 bitcoins or approx $120,134,740 million?

Where did you find those 3 wallets? Any source that they are GOX owned?

Someone external to Mt. Gox has to audit what happened there, until then all we have is pure and useless speculation.

To me, their claims of assets simply don't add up:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/how-does-mtgox-only-claim-37-million-in-assets-doesnt-add-up-494710

Without having access to their records, there is no 110% provability that those two wallets are in fact owned by GOX, however, if this were a civil matter, with the information provided at http://letstalkbitcoin.com/the-ghost-in-the-machine-at-mtgox/#.UxImAuNdUhM, there's pretty good probability that they are.

Does anyone know what happened?

Where the coins stolen or voided?

Did they go to customer accounts over past weeks?

Does gox pay withdraws to more then one address per transaction?

If you where overpaid by GOX withdraws would you really let people know?
