Are you so optimistic that BTC will touch $100k in the near future? I don't think so. That still requires more time to touch that point. And I never thought that altcoins would die. Altcoins will still fly together with Bitcoin. We will see the public enthusiasm with cryptocurrency soon. Bitcoin will be a driving force for others because it sees it as number 1 here as a piooner, but besides that the top altcoins project also has their ace by offering various implementation of blockchain technology to various fields and creating a new solution for us. Eventually people will also realize that the crypto world is vast. So, your opinion is totally wrong about this.

Is this a sad attempt for FUD?
If Bitcoin reaches 100k, people will be happy with the easy money they've got and will be more willing to spend/invest in altcoins.
And some (very few!) altcoins deserve such a chance.
Exactly, it is so sad that OP doesn't have any common sense to answer his FUD question, I mean like, if bitcoin will really hit that price, time to celebrate and wait 'till it is time for the Altcoins also to rise up on their bed to do some workout and ride the bull.

Extinction of the FIAT will happen as most people are using Bitcoin by that time and some alternative cryptocurrency.

When it happens and the fundamental of the altcoin will be destroyed or they will be following bitcoin like 2017's trend.
if you are reading the post starter properly and that was asking your opinion about what will be the impact when bitcoin can touch 100k and it's not about how to achieve 100k for bitcoin in the future.
so all altcoins rise to 100% more ,bitcoin now worth 8K if it up to 100K then an increase of almost 100% more around 112% is possible and that will make altcoin rich too but will not be zero ,once again altcoin will definitely grow more value in order to support all of his assets for the future too
This is true Bitcoin is the backbone of digital coin market. It has laid the foundation of crypto currencies and indeed is the first digital asset created ever. altcoins just copied it in terms of concept. All the altcoins depend on bitcoin one way or the other. Whenever bitcoin gains some value, the rates of alternative coins also increase. If bitcoin will touch 100k dollars or any other big number and that it will, altcoins will pump too. 
The uptrend on the BTC markets doesn't mean the altcoins will go to check their ATH prices because the correlation level is not as high as the OP stated. The dependence of the altcoins shows us how to use the price movement of BTC for trading altcoins. The illiquid altcoin markets will not react to $100k BTC price from my trading experience but the markets are not 100% rational.

when btc price raises it does not mean that the price of alts crashes, like what happened when ATH of btc hits the market alt coins also shines but unfortunately when the price of btc raises (because there are lots of investors again) there will also lots opportunistic people who create fake project that will leads to investors to turn their back to cryptocurrency that is also the reason why 100k value of btc is hard to achieve today.

no, I'm sure altcoin will survive. because it is impossible bitcoin forever rali and go up to 100k. there must have been a pump before, and this pump will be a momentum for altcoin to rise.
Most people will be happy if bitcoin reach 100k, mostly of also altcoins keep value for bitcoin so they get some from alrcoins, if altcoins price will drop when bitcoin reach 100k will not be ok at all for most people who hold altcoins.
That's for sure, every crypto users will be happy since we are really hoping for that to happen. Just expect that altcoins will increase too the same as how bitcoin will increase its price.
In my point of view Holding money or any virtual currency is very important to survive the future. So will hold it btc touch $100K

Altcoins will not die, there’s a limited supply of bitcoin so for sure bitcoin can’t supply the world and people might start looking for a better and cheaper currency so even if bitcoin reach $100k, altcoins will follow the up trend. You might be talking about the shitcoins right now, of course they have no room for growth and they wont grow because the developer are not serious about that. Always invest on top coins/tokens, the whole cryptomarket will go up again. ALTS ?? dump to zero

That's a sweet event if ever btc hits $100k. I'm prettt sure many will wanted to buy btc again due to hype since last ATH many people become interested in btc cause the news have got it everywhere. Altcoin price will soar too if the btc increase though some will probably died out too those projects that arent good and no market cap.
This depends on how bitcoin is in people's eyes, if bitcoin can be used to make transactions and become a legal currency that is used to make purchases and sales then it is certain that bitcoin will be bought even though the price has reached more than $100K because bitcoin is one of the most payment important and safest, but I believe the fee that will be charged when making a transaction will be very expensive. In my opinion, I think when bitcoin reaches 100K altcoin will follow it, or you could say every time bitcoin increases the price of altcoin also increases so I don't think that altcoin will become zero. And when bitcoin reaches that point, I think many people will feel happy and will decide to sell it and maybe use it to buy altcoin which is expected to increase.ALTS ?? dump to zero

This is nothing new with the crypto market and if you look at history, altcoins tend to be correlated to Bitcoin's pricing. so i predict that history may repeat itself. high Bitcoin prices will generate interest in cryptocurrency as a whole. Some of the new investors will discover altcoins, and choose to invest. As a result, a Bitcoin bull run should have a positive effect on all altcoins with strong fundamentals, due to increased awareness. so In my opinion the prices of altcoin will rise too. this could be wrong, but value of other altcoins such as TRON, Vechain, Cosmos and Chainlink have already seen increases in value along with the increases on the value of BTC. it will be the highest level in history. maybe crypto will be the number one investment choice for everyone. there will be lots of altcoins returning from the dead. the market will be a pleasant place. all investments will be very profitable, no matter if it's shitcoin or a bad project. like last year's ATH and maybe bigger than that.

In my own personal opinion, if bitcoin reaches it's price to $100k there possibilities that only few coins will survive because bitcoin will be dominant. Top altcoins like ETH, BCH, LTC, XRP, BNB and etc will also increased it's price because investors will not only focus in bitcoin that they will split their funds to earned more income. If bitcoin touches $ 100k, surely this will make the crypto world more uproar and crowded people flock to buy it. On the other hand, those who are Hodl are enjoying a luxurious vacation with their families. Or have already bought other assets in the real world such as land, houses, cars and others. Surely this will bring benefits to bitcoin holders themselves.
