1. whether the wallet file had any passwords or not
if it had no password then the theft is 100%, but if it had password then:

an simple password can be brute forced a lot faster than a complicated long one
3. if the thief had any information about your password to brute force it.
for example knowing how long it is and what it contains. for instance knowing it is 4 English words from a song with 3 symbols makes it easy to brute force.
4. what method of encryption the wallet used.

The big problem when your wallet was stolen your funds will be gone because they will still everything and it is totally bad.I understand that the risks of losing a wallet is very high compared to losing physical wallet with you because if you lost physical wallet, you are still able to called up banks to close down your account so thief cannot use the card except for the physical money that have in the wallet. However, wallet file can led in losing everything once it's stolen. So the most important things to do is secure your wallet properly and the right place where no one knows except yourself and to always remember your password.

I hope that there will be additional security for our wallet like in every transaction there will be approval key number to our cellphone before transaction proceed to prevent wallet stollen.
That's right, there will be no way to retrieve it back. I was stolen wallet ETH but no way to change the password so I accept losing it.
