The view that bitcoin was created by the American FBI is nothing more than fantasy and is not based on anything. Besides, why should they do it? Some say to undermine China's economy, which now constitutes real competition for the US. However, the Chinese government wanted and banned the Crypto currency. And what's next? Moreover, to launch such a complex project, which is still unknown than will end, including for the US itself. However, if this is so, then it's worth to thank the American FBI, they did a really good job.

Then why did the US government itself made a lot of steps just so they could take out the ones who are using bitcoin as a means of payment from the black market?
Silk Road. One proof they dont know anything about it yet. They just knew it from there, it was the start that they eyed bitcoin. But once again they dont even have an idea it could come to this.

I think that is not true. The FBI is a work devoted to the state and was not related to the business. The FBI will never be subtle enough and robust to be able to develop a power altcoin like bitcoin.
We really should not have post like this. We need to discuss practical issues to help our members better understand Bitcoin. That's my opinion and I think that's right.

It is far possible that Bitcoin might be a project of FBI. Is that how FBI are good enough to make a currency that has the power to cost $20K and make rich people, who invested, or those who work hard, to gain it, rich? Well, if ever that it is just a project of FBI, at least they made a currency that is too hard for someone to steal, from blockchains and wallets, to trading platform.

What if cryptocurrencies are a project of FBI? Is it possible? Maybe is bitcoin not so as we think about it...

I don't think so. If this is the project of NBI why are they making it hard for themselves. It is hard to trace a transaction in here. And bitcoin is existing for a decade already so I don't believe it is thw project of NBI. one thing is for sure, people nowadays are crazy of bitcoin as  we are earning in here. It helps us financially and that whats matters to me.

Another conspiracy theory. Satoshi Nakamoto is an FBI agent or high ranking official. Just like Deep Throat of the Watergate Scandal. Whoever created bitcoins, I’m thankful they did.r

How dumb can you get, if it would be FBI project we'll would have been jailed for falling into it. Why don't you google it, and see it, this was invented by Satoshi, who was also here on this legendary forum, but now no one really knows where he is or what has happened to him. Stop making such nonsense posts, and learn to google stuff. If you're not aware you won't get merit for such kind of posts, and will never rank up.

If that so, what is the purpose of FBI? As far as I know, FBI is anti-crime agency and not a marketing company. They will not make an effort here unless they have person to be hunted.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is a police agency. They're cops. They chase bad people only inside of American borders and put them in little boxes with bars.

The FBI doesn’t do that sort of work. If you want to create a good conspiracy thread you need to do a little research.

The U.S Cyber Command, National Security Agency, Central Security Service and Central Intelligence Agency have the brain power and computers to do it. The Central Security Service is responsible for signals intelligence, cryptology and information assurance so they would be my best guess for being the creator of bitcoin.

Satoshi Nakamoto in Japanese means Center of Intelligence, so an NSA joke pointing to CIA

Uh, no. Satoshi Nakamoto can be translated in a number of ways, but "Center of Intelligence" is a stretch likely made up by conspiracy theorists. You can find more info here:

https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@decentro/satoshi-nakamoto-a-comprehensive-translation-of-an-enigma

I am of the opinion that it's nothing more than a conspiracy theory simply because of the absence of solid evidence. No one had any idea that Bitcoin could be as big as it is now, so I seriously doubt anyone ever planned it for use as a mass surveillance system.

not so sure of what you think, maybe on the one hand we can suspect anyone, but the important thing I know bitcoin can be legal in every country, if that's true there is FBI I think it's easy to get legal in every country Smiley

This is beyond my imagination if it is true but I think that is impossible. At their level, the advanced nations of the world with very professional intelligence they can thoroughly investigate if the bitcoin is generated by the FBI. Because I can not understand the FBI deliberately creating bitcoin for what purpose. This is a terrible idea.

if true the crypto currency is an FBI project, what is the benefit of this project for them? and what is the purpose of this project? i think no one can answer it.
because I see this is just a conspiracy theory that is far from reality. but the FBI may also search and track criminal data from BTC.

FBI has nothing to do with financial projects. If any agency it would most likely be the CIA. They are known for trying to cause disturbances around the world and independent money might look like a safe haven for unstable economies. It's working as we speak because countries that were going bankrupt like Zimbabwe are starting to get interested in virtual currencies.
