Human civilization is going through a terrible transition. People are observing mandatory quarantine to avoid coronavirus infection. Regularly using masks as a way to prevent or prevent the virus, whether indoors or outdoors. The use of hand gloves or sanitizer has become a daily companion. Many are now avoiding the crowd. If someone has a fever or a cold, he is not rushing to his side. Everyone is getting used to a regular habit. The habit that people are getting used to today will probably last forever.

Most probably even if stays for ever majority of the population with get immuned against it only people with health issues and low immunity would be vulnerable.
I also think that this would be the case, mass immunization even if the virus keeps some activity in some places, like these flu variations.

It's almost the case already, without mass immunization.     Cool

We want it to last forever. It will exercise our immune systems, to keep us safe from all the other viruses out there. Covid itself can be controlled by vitamin-C, vitamin-D, and zinc sulfate... or hydroxychloroquine and zinc sulfate.

What if Corona Virus lasts forever?

Doesn't matter. You won't live much over 100 years, if you even reach 100.

Wanna live forever in joy and good health? Get into the Bible and strengthen yourself with God.

Cool
Indeed. The important thing is we need to enjoy our lives now, with or without the virus. And if somehow we get infected, we need to accept it, and we can allow the doctor to cure ourselves and help us. We must pray for our health, our beloved family, and people near us, so we don't have to get a problem, and let GOD do with HIS hands.

Just accept the fact that all of us will be gone someday. No one has survived til now. So yes, enjoy your life as if tomorrow is the end. As long as you are doing what is necessary to survive and you are happy and contented with it, that's more than enough. I guess. And the fact that vaccine is almost available in the market, so having this covid forever is very unlikely.
Yes, accepting will be needed at this moment, so we can think about how to prevent the worst situation. We can hope that the vaccine will not take too long to be released, so people can get help to cure the virus. Feeling happy can help us enjoy life because that can give us a positive mind, which can increase our immune system so that we can prevent another virus.

Well, if humanity has already survived a few plagues with its weak medicine a few centuries ago, I think we can handle one more disease with nowadays technologies.

Thus, even if some kind of terminal illness appears, we gonna learn how to survive it pretty fast Wink

If there's no cure then its really possible because the virus is easily transmitted to one another and given that many people dont follow the basic health precautions.

There are news circulating that vaccines are already made and now in clinical trials. If this were true then we can stop the virus from spreading further.

But even if there is a cure found and it might be the case that the corona virus can mutate very easily. Unfortunately there is a chance that corona will come back every year in a slightly different form.

I think no one can say for sure how long corona will last. We need to be aware that it still could get worse.

This virus is not a problem because it is not so dangerous if you are an ordinary healthy person. Therefore, don't worry about it, even if the media tell you every day that everything is bad, don't pay attention to them, but rather don't read the news at all.

Corona viruses have been around since the 1930s, so they aren't something new to out immune systems.

The most optimistic of the proposed vaccines seems to predict a 40% success rate. Natural immunity has a 100% success rate in healthy people, and it is free. I you aren't a money Pharmer, which option do you think is better for society?

My country isn't paying pharma a cent so we can't care less for that. If it works and can be replicated, it will. What, is Trump going to invade? He has been threatening during all his administration but did nothing, useless bluffer.

Naturally we are good friends with Russia and China and we expected the first vaccines to come from them. Putin went a bit ahead.

Technically the search for a vaccine started in China around Jan (maybe Dec), so its not 3~4 months but 7~8. It might be that Putin rushed it, but the Chinese are going to come with something soon, India will copy it too; one way or the other we are getting a vaccine just hope it has little or no nasty side effects.

Natural immunity is great for the 3/4 of people that survive it. You might want to gamble it, but most people won't. In fact it has been like that nearly all human history (natural selection); people would die from diseases their bodies couldn't fight on their own. A vaccine is a weakened version of the virus so your body can synthesize this "natural immunity" without killing you.

Also the virus has existed before we identified it, mostly because it was in another species (ie. Bats). As with things in the universe, just because we are currently unaware of them, doesn't mean they haven't been there "forever".

Good point.

There is a recent news that they have to do more clinical trials for more test patients. It's true that it requires a long time for them to create a vaccine but with the help of modern technology, I guess they can lessen the waiting time for its arrival.

I'll wait for more news about the Sputnik V.
While waiting for that, we need to live with the new normal like this.

We all know that only proven vaccine that will change this whole situations and without it
we still need to continue living and surviving to this new normal ways of life, preventions
is always better keep your guard always up.
Other clinical trials from the other big pharmaceutical companies are also doing pretty good. They're almost near to the final stages of clinical trials and it won't be long, we'll hear them proclaiming that the proven and tested vaccine is there.

And for Sputnik V, we'll see once there's new update for it.

We can call it the new normal since it does not seem to go away anytime soon. People in many parts are adapting to it just like the world have been surviving with HIV/AIDS for decades now.
