I don't think that it is still necessary that bitcoin would still put adverstisement on television. Social medias and online adverstisement I think is more than enough and it is less expensive.

Similarly to how programmatic is changing the way TV advertising is bought and sold, blockchain may revolutionize programmatic by opening it up to more publishers and advertisers and by further streamlining monetary transactions.

Of course if that happens will be very influential on the community especially those who do not know the brand bitcoin must know how to get bitcoin.
If people are already using bitcoin then they would feel happy because bitcoin has been introduced through Tv media.

Bitcoin doesn't need TV advertising, I don't think it's any use for bitcoin, the cost is too big, no one is willing to spend so much money to promote bitcoin.

you got some point and i frankly agree that bitcoin doesnt really need it as it is only a digital currency and not a service or a product that has a real usage in an offline environment or in a real world and almost all the products that has been advertise on t.v's  is mostly real stuffs like for example food (i.e bread , junk foods , cerials , coffe , juice , etc. ) but if ever had someone to this to bitcoin then i guess it will have a great effect  on bitcoin because bitcoin will now be more popular and more people will be aware of it on what is a bitcoin and what is it use for.

I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?

Here in my country I think they don't want to advertise bitcoin because TV news already warn people here to avoid it and they give pointers why...
It's not yet popular to all the people here but they already gave their negative side of it.

For me advertising bitcoin on public and national channels is a great idea to make bitcoin more popular to many people. Because as we all know even bitcoin has already been known worldwide and being already used by many people, there are still people around the globe that belongs to a country that do not even know yet bitcoin's existence. So, with the help of television advertisements, it will now be easy to dissiminate the facts and informations about bitcoin to make it more popular worldwide.

Advertising in tv will cost a lot. But most people believe in products being advertised in tv. They tend to use more products from the tv ads. This may be because they think that product owners will not spend much money if the products are inferior in quality. I think educating people through tv can boost bitcoin and will make every investors happy.

Even if there is advertise or nothing, bitcoin will be popular in social media or the internet so there is no need to advertise bitcoin because it is not a brand new product.

That is not possible in my country. Bitcoin is banned by the government but it can be advertised on social networks, on tobe ads, but there are many other countries that banned Bitcoin and can not. Ads are on TV

We all know that television is one of the media that can go through in order for everybody to be aware on what is happening. I think, it is a great idea that we will advertise bitcoin on T.V so that everyone will know that Bitcoin is for real. Everyone will be convince to use this as their main line of transaction in which there will be less burden for them to fall in line, just to pay bills or etc.

Oh, that would be stupid - advertising Bitcoin just like a product to buy. IN THEORY Bitcoin should be a currency, and you don't advertise a currency, it makes no sense. I agree that Bitcoin has become a commodity instead, but to advertise it as such would be a disaster, it would remove the last illusions that it is the currency that everybody in the Bitcoin comunity pretends it is.

It's enough if we advertise bitcoin in any social media. Bitcoin will become more popular if we advertise it on t.v.  The downside would be it will create more confusion. And also, the Government won't allow that to happen. Lastly, if incase it will be advertise,  who will pay for it? The bitcoin whales? We don't actually need it to advertise on tv just to make bitcoin more popular. We don't need to exert an effort coz bitcoin is gaining popular every now and then.

Moreover people who would learn about Bitcoin from TV, ie people who would hear about Bitcoin for the fist time, would likely not have the technical skills to install a wallet and to understand how it works, they would probably have to rely on some middle man who in the end would eventually tip him off. These latecomers would all end up struggling at the end of the foodchain, thus probably damaging the reputation of Bitcoin among mainstream public.
There is no need to advertise bitcoin on TV because the social media did it all. The bitcoin hashtag was trending for weeks on both twitter and facebook. I believe that is enough besides who watches TV, anyway? I guess, only the old and young kids that are complete watching TV, nowadays!

LoL  Cheesy Your observation was indeed due to make my concept more clear Smiley And there is a final point: user adoption is already skyrocking faster than the system can handle it. Networks are congested, fees are rising and exchanges are under siege and they cannot take new members. Really no need to make publicity on TV Cheesy

It will become most popular if advertise in tv, but i think there's no need to publish in tv because social media alone can attract already and convince more people to join.

its a good idea but it will costs too much than social media advertisements. Television ads is a nice idea but who will pay for it ? a thousands of dollar thing, the problem with us is we are too ambitious onto something, we expect too much on bitcoin but we cannot support it hard we can't even stay if its price drops. World wide web is free to advertise and its international viewing for others why we cannot use it ?

I think it's a very good idea, because television is generally owned and watched by the whole community, if they know Bitcoin advertising on television, then I think more and more people are curious about Bitcoin, and more and more Bitcoin users and will increasingly good for future bitcoin.

Of course the cost of advertising on tv is very expensive but it is certainly worth the profit we get, I've seen bitcoin ads on bloomberg tv and CNBC tv and seen bitcoin ads very professional and different from other products.

That would be a great way to educate people about bitcoin and what are the things that you can do with it but I think getting TV channels to advertise bitcoin in their channels would not be easy now.
