You simply estimate where you think Bitcoin will be when you intend to cash out, and calculate how many Bitcoins you will need in order to reach your goal amount. E.g. If you want $100,000, and you think that Bitcoin will be $50,000 within two years. Then you will need to purchase 2BTC now. Obviously as a newbie you might want to gradually build up to 2BTC once you're comfortable with the risks entailed.

Every amount of bitcoin is good for buying. 0.05 to 0.5 is the best amount to buy because you were able to trade it to other crypto currency. If I buy 0.5 BTC I will also buy 5 ETH so that I can big profit from it.

There is no particular amount of BTC to buy. You are free to buy any amount of BTC as long as you have enough capital and you’re okay with what you’re buying at.
