You can start to invest with a small amount, but the income will be small. I believe that the availability of experience, practice, knowledge and information determines the amount for investment. $ 20,000 in my opinion this is a good amount for investments

The bigger you invest, the bigger the profit. For me, especially for newbies, get a lot of experience first by starting in a small amount then go higher later on that is the strategy I use and that is what matters.

I started with 500 dollars. And a some bounty. I will not regret if the loss this 500. Interestingly, it turned out that I earned more than 500$ from the bounty.
At everyone it can be different conditions, numbers, purposes.

You need to now concretly how much risks do you want to have in percents or something like that, choose amount that you don't be afraid to loose
As long as we can have other income and do not rely on crypto any investment in cryptocurrency is feasible and good, I'm sure that the future of crypto will keep improving so never hesitate to put big money.

What is a good amount to start with when investing into crypto?

I see lots of posts about “I have $100 / $200, what should I buy” and most of the time the answers are with that amount just invest in an ICO etc etc.

I would be interested to know what people here consider a good starting amount to invest...and I know the basics of not investing more than you can afford to loose but for arguements sake, what’s a good number to start with?

I’m not so much interested from a whale perspective of investing like $500k or $1mill, more so the normal everyday average joe male/female investor who wants to dabble in the crypto market. Would it be $1k, $2k, $5k, $10k, $20k etc? People new to the game or interested to start investing in this space may find this useful so they know a rough number which would be a good starting point before turning  that into riches (the obvious dream).

For reference I initially started with about $3k (it’s not loads but it was a start) and over time I’ve added more and more (it gets addicting) into the pot as and when I have the money to spend and when the time seems good to buy.

$3,000 is enough already as it is. I think going beyond $3,000 without a smidge of profit is pure lunacy. Just stick with the $3,000 and play it around a bit. Invest in a lot of starting alt coins and buy even the cheapest ones. Hey, bitcoin started dirt cheap, may some of these alt coins might quiver bitcoins' tail.

There's no such thing as a good amount to invest. If you're new, start with a small a mount which isn't too significant to your life. Use that amount and learn then top up your investment with other funds which you can easily forget should in set goes against you

in the crypto world, invest the amount that you can hold for the longer time and that you can afford to loose it (sometimes). Control the fear & greeds.  Wink Wink Shocked Shocked

The greater the investment, the greater the potential risk. Also profit. You should understand that all the money you invest can be lost.

For each person a good amount for investment will be its own. For some people, $ 1,000 is a large sum, and for some, this amount is considered very small. Therefore, it is rather difficult to answer this question unequivocally. Invest the amount of money you are not afraid to lose.

No matter how much you invest, it's important where. You can even make $ 100,000 with $ 10 per year, there are a lot of such examples.

First of all, we should know crypto investment has a huge risk. You should invest a amount which you can afford to loose. If you invest high, you may have a chance to earn more quickly, but as well as you may loose high, if your choices are wrong. Deciding the amount is entirely up to you.

I think it's totally depend on you.Because which amount you can invest and how much profit you want to expect it's all are your choose. But according to me if you can invest about 2 ETH then you will get a good profit from them.So fixed your goal first and then invest in crypto.

If you are still a beginner, it is better if you start small. The bigger the investment, the bigger the profit. But remember not to invest all balls in one place. Try differens strategies. Invest some in new alt some in top some in perspective some in ICO. Not put more then 5% in 1 coin, except ETH and BTC

Looks like you are more interested in trading. if there is a 0.5-1% chance in a day, maybe you can adjust the amount of capital to the amount of profit you expect.
