What is a good amount to start with when investing into crypto?

I see lots of posts about “I have $100 / $200, what should I buy” and most of the time the answers are with that amount just invest in an ICO etc etc.

I would be interested to know what people here consider a good starting amount to invest...and I know the basics of not investing more than you can afford to loose but for arguements sake, what’s a good number to start with?

I’m not so much interested from a whale perspective of investing like $500k or $1mill, more so the normal everyday average joe male/female investor who wants to dabble in the crypto market. Would it be $1k, $2k, $5k, $10k, $20k etc? People new to the game or interested to start investing in this space may find this useful so they know a rough number which would be a good starting point before turning  that into riches (the obvious dream).

For reference I initially started with about $3k (it’s not loads but it was a start) and over time I’ve added more and more (it gets addicting) into the pot as and when I have the money to spend and when the time seems good to buy.
Invest in how much money is best, I think it depends on your economic conditions, market and opportunity. In my opinion, what we need to pay attention to is the selection of potential investments. Maybe people invest a lot of capital, but for me, it comes from curiosity exploring new areas. And I did what I wanted and was curious to discover about these attractive and risky cryptographic coins.

I think there is no the best amount of money to get started. Because all of us have completely different assets, but it doesn't mean we can't invest in crypto. So just get started, that is the best advice.

In my opinion, you can start with $ 200 and buy a few different coins on them, later, if you make a profit then buy some more coins and so continue.

maybe the best amount to invest is depending on your financial ability, for example like if you can save your monthly money 30% of your total salary use like 15-20% of it to invest, I think this is the safest because if the price goes down the loss will not affect you

Theres no such thing as a good amount to invest. Whatever you can afford to lose is a good amount to invest. Other than that I wouldn't recommend you to invest more than that into the crypto markets. As theres no guarantee when a coin will lose half its value or if it goes to zero.
It's important to start small and increase your size as your grow more comfortable. The process of buying, moving and storing cryptos it is not like traditional online banking or investing. In the world of crypto, if you make a mistake you can lose your money in an instant.

I started with $500 in the beginning and I consider it was a good amount of money to invest.
$500 is a lot to invest with. You could get a lot of Bitcoins with that amount of money that is used for an investment.

Using a small sum, get used to the process of transferring, trading and safely storing cryptos. Once you're comfortable, then you can start to level up to bigger sizes.

I do not think there is a certain amount to invest, because it depends on you, if you want to get a quicker profit means that the amount you spend must be bigger. You can start doing profit not investing any dollars too. Start from bounty and it took you half an year to invest something

This is the logic in investment, if you will invest more money in bitcoin for sure you will gain huge profit, but if you invest low money in bitcoin you will gain small profit. So for me i will invest a huge amount of money in bitcoin, yes! risk is always there, but you are investing. In investing you to trust the process, you need to believe in bitcoin, if your mindset is negative and i think that the outcome will be negative also. So invest now in a good amount.

Every amount in crypto is important even if its small. Of course the more you invest the more money you'll make the end of the day  Smiley  but you should invest what you can afford to lose

there is  no minimum or maximum investment. It depends on how much risk you can take. The way of investment is division, rather than whether the market is at any level.

The amount to invest purely depends your capacity, and the amount you are willing to risk, any amount is good as long as you are comfortable with it, Crypto however has a tendency of rewarding high risk

I believe that the minimum amount for investing in the cryptocurrency market is $1000. But do not count on a large profit from this amount.

i think it is depends on the market price. if the market price high, you must add more funds to buy more coins.
it is minimum $1000 to invest when the market high. but $500 is enough when low i think.

It depends on the amount of money you make. In my case, I started with $50-$100 (from the bounty reward), I use that to buy an alternate coin which I predicted to increase in a couple of months. I didn't get lucky but I will try again. Good thing it was a small amount of money. Its good to start small and learn things first rather than diving with your head first and not know how to land.

now is the time to invest in buying coins for investment
and my advice is to think only myself
before buying a coin, it is very good to study its goals and abilities to achieve a high rate in the future
You should take a closer look at the coins from the top 10 list
and invest in one coin is not worth it
You need to buy 3-4-5 different coins
