And in case you really hate seeing the signature ads, you can hide all of them.
Just go to Profile -> Look and Layout Preferences, and put a tick in your "Don't show users' signatures". Smiley

THANK YOU

It is one kind of service or advertisement that you can do for the business who want the campaign.
You add their advertisement in your signature, and when you post in this forum, others will notice the business and that is why it is advertisement.

You can find it in service section.

You can get paid for posts you make (total number of posts * fixed price per post depending on your membership level), or you can join refferal campaign (like my signature) and make profits based on traffic you generate.

You post with advertisement in your sig and get paid. Us new guys get nothing tho  Cry

There are more restrictions on your signature. You can't have links or color, and you can't play with the character size.
Therefore, the pay rate for newbies is much lower but it is still better than nothing. Smiley

Just a heads up --

There are some people that find signature campaigns really annoying, either because "who wants to see more ads?" or simply because some people who use them write tons of short useless posts just for the extra cash... try not to be one of them Smiley

This is done so that people don't spam the forum with useless posts just to get financial compensation.  The theory is that most senior and hero members won't post useless drivel - for the most part this is true.

People should not post to make money.  They should post to add to the discussion and help others.  Anything that comes from that is just extra.

How do we collect payment tho?

You set your bitcoin address in your profile and the signature campaign host will pay you to that address.

For some of these campaigns, you post your bitcoin address, when you sign up, and then they know, where to send your payment.

Very easy. Just get your Bitcoin address first.  Grin

Ok thanks guys! I get it now  Smiley but how would you claim your earnings? Would you inform the maker of the signature campaign?

thats it! Or some pay upfront for a certain number of posts!

ok i see! once i get o jr member i think i will start using a signature campaign
I highly recommend you do.

However, signature campaigns for Jr. Members do not pay well. You will be lucky to receive more than 1.5 mBTC per week per campaign.

Most campaigns also only let you participate in theirs. If you start any other campaign they will terminate your participantcy.

A signature is a message that appears when you post and payment is made through the advertiser of the signature.

Welcome to the forum, The sig below each of my posts (777coin) is not the highest paying campaign but its run by lightlord and he seem to be an honest member that pays.
I think its also the only one you could join now as a newbie, not sure if his got any spots left but you can always try. He is also starting a new campaign soon so keep watch for that.
Why wait till jr member if you could start earning some spare change on the meantime. Wink

Where has he said this? Will it be better rates? Doesn't seem to pay much at the moment. Not really worth ricking getting your account banned which seems to increase if you have a paid sig.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=654009.780 he has mentioned it here, going to be call bitin.io. No more info yet so i know nothing about the rates and to tell you the truth i dont really care, i'd still be posting without sig campaign.
If all you care about is how much your going to be paid per post your've got the wrong idea from the start, this forum is about people into bitcoin that need help and are willing to help other when they can.
As for banned account for having sig, again that's people thinking with their wallets and probably banned for spam. U need to contribute where possible.

And now lightlord has created a new thread for the new bitin.io campaign https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/exchange-quick-751056
The pay rates and requirements are exactly the same as the old 777coin campaign.

You post relevant comments and they pay you for your sig space for their websites. The higher status your account is, the more you get paid.

For detailed information about the existing signature campaign, look here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/overview-of-bitcointalk-signature-ad-campaigns-last-update-01-jan-23-615953

Apart from those campaigns listed in bitcoininformation's thread, there are also the PD referral campaigns and a few other altcoin campaigns.
