It’s not that likely that the OP will return to this thread, at least in a constructive manner. As per his words:

Looks like Activity is not going to be of much interest in this particular case really …

Based on his post history, yeah. And that guy has some attitude:
Pal Ive made more sales on the internet than you can ever dream of.Please get the hell off this thread

Ehh, I see a new guy here asking a silly question and then not leaving any feedback. He is irresponsible. Every tutorial seems to be on this forum, just learn with a little time, but they never do it.

P.S: If this is enough, lock the thread at the bottom-left corner of the page to prevent spam and people answering the same thing over and over again. edit: one already...

I wonder, does reporting a thread to the mods to close it work?

OP might not even (bother to) lock since he never responded to this thread.

Op maybe you already got the answer. If you did not read what TryNinja referred to, just read it and I hope you will understand all things about activities. And now lock this this topic or this thread will be flooded with the same answer.

that's the number of posts you make on the forum. the more you make a post then the number of your activities also increases

This is not the number of posts. Posts are required to increase the number of activity points, but you also need time to do so. During the two-week period (because activity points are updated every two weeks) you can get a maximum of 14 activity points.
In other words, if you write 40 posts within 2 weeks, you will receive a maximum of 14 activity points. If you write less than 14 posts in two weeks, you will get as many activity points as many posts you write.
Activity points are required to be promoted to a higher rank on the forum.

Yours here. And while you're still confusing about activity. Why don't you spend your time to read sticky threads at this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=24.0
Guess that you didn't read them. It might help and you don't have to ask kind of same questions.
