Since vanilla isnt selling reload cards anymore, what is another payment that is similar to it?

I'm going to interpret your question as: "What are some prepaid/gift cards that I can purchase in the United States, and trade for bitcoin?"

There aren't a lot of good options, and you're going to lose 10-20% buying bitcoins this way.  You're generally much better off trading for cash, but if you can't find anyone local to trade with, and don't want to send cash in the mail, your options are:

Paypal My Cash.  These cost $3.95 for up to $500.  There are various restrictions on using these cards including daily/monthly limits, account verification, and inability to directly withdraw the funds.  Due to these restrictions, people aren't eager to buy these cards, and usually won't pay more than 80% of the value.

Visa/Mastercard gift cards.  You can use these at brawker, or try to cash them out with Paypal.  If you're using paypal, you will have to send the funds to another account, and they will charge you a 2.9% fee even if you send as gift, however this may be easier than using my cash.  I've occasionally had paypal reject certain cards.  For whatever reason, the AVS seems to be a bit more permissive with mastercard than visa, but visa cards that let you register a full address (eg simon malls) will work.

Amazon gift cards.  You can cash these out using purse.io.  Rates are generally unfavorable, especially for your first few transactions when you have low feedback.

Yes, your interpretation is correct. Smiley

I'm assuming I need a PayPal account in order to accept PayPal My Cash. correct?

Reloadit and Netspend reload packs are probably the closest to what Vanilla Reload was

are these readily available to trade in the US? And how easy is it to cash them out and how safe are they?
