You can do your own research about Bitcoin. But for me, Bitcoin is really the best for payments, it is the best and very comfortable to use. The technology behind Bitcoin is really great, it is open source, you cannot cheat when you using Bitcoin, it is on the records all of our transaction.

Everybody has different views about bitcoin, for me bitcoin is the current leading cryptocurrency in the world where it's current value is at a very high exchange rate where no other currency had ever reached before. Bitcoin can give there lives if you are hard working to this project, and bitcoin can give opportunity to the people who dont have stable job. Bitcoin can help also quick earning, but you didn't earn if you are not going to work hard.

For beginning I should mention that Bitcoin and blockchain are different things(because I think you thought they are synonyms from your words).
Bitcoin is one of many manifestations of technology on which it is based. And maybe Bitcoin itself cant change the whole world(I think he can instead, but this is imho, so) but technology of logically-structured, determined, decentralized database - this is the treasure. And this can change many things
