Starting bid dropped to 0.2 ETH for this first unique, redeemable NFT. Also: The sale of the NFT/Poster donates 10% of the proceeds to Nubbins, the original creator.

From the description listed on the Openseas... "There are rumors that the poster contains a 'secret' that translates to a private key possibly holding a small amount of bitcoin, but I cannot deny or verify this."

This seems somewhat misleading, no?....

The P.P. of the first edition actually contains secret text promising a btc prize; this text was commissioned by a private party for a select number of copies of the initial run of posters, and the prize is presently unredeemable.

YES! I am changing the description. I cocked up and didn't notice that the poster was the second edition 2016! NOTE THIS!! Description is being changed on opensea as we speak. 100% my mistake. NOTE: THE NFT AND ACCOMPANYING ARTWORK IS THE 2016 edition seen here:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1387250.0;all

Edit: The mention of the 'secret' has been removed. Thank you for pointing this out.

I’m not presently willing to part with my Artist’s Proofs but after searching my archives, it appears that I did also retain a Printer’s Proof (P.P.) of each edition.

Like an Artist’s Proof, which is intended to be a proof-quality print kept by the artist, a Printer’s Proof is a proof-quality print intended to be kept by the printer, as a record of the work produced. This is important in traditional printing, as prints are considered originals — there is no digital master file from which these posters can be reproduced, due to the ultimately analog process of selecting and mixing inks, modifying film positives, and printing by hand with a wooden and rubber squeegee.

My body is no longer able to withstand the wear and tear that an enormous project like this requires, so it is extremely unlikely that you will ever see a reprint of either of these series.

I am willing to entertain offers on one or both posters here or via DM; I will be contacting a few collectors directly to solicit offers. The 0.01 offered above will likely be the minimum for consideration.

The P.P. of the first edition actually contains secret text promising a btc prize; this text was commissioned by a private party for a select number of copies of the initial run of posters, and the prize is presently unredeemable.

I have both versions of this poster framed and they’re hanging up in my house. Nobody ever really comments on them, but they’re a couple of my favorite pieces to look at. I really like the style they were done in and the colors used. It’s very pleasant.

Appreciate this, it’s always nice to see or hear of people enjoying my art years later

I definitely do. It’s a shame that items like this aren’t considered to be extremely valuable things (although still quite valuable) because they didn’t keep up with the unimaginable price performance of BTC. Would be great to go back in time and preload these with BTC so their value could have increased along with BTC’s success. They really are some of my favorite crypto collectibles and are worth far more to me personally than any buyer would feel sane paying these days. If you ever wanted to do another poster in this style, I’d love to give you some inspiration and help out if possible.

I have no idea what to offer for both. How does 0.01 btc sound for both?

Just wondering whether anyone else still has this amazing screenprint poster? It's been a few years granted. I found mine, still perfectly packaged. I did want the 2016 version but unfortunately didn't get the chance to get one.

I still have my personal copy (signed & numbered “AP” for artist’s proof), would have a hard time selling it as I generally keep all my APs. I also have one flat-packed poster that was sent overseas & returned to me because the recipient never picked it up at the post, not sure which edition it’s from as I have not opened it since its return.

If there’s any interest, feel free to shoot me an offer here or via DM

I ended up buying the remaining posters in bulk. As soon as I receive them I may start taking orders. I did this mainly so that Nubbins could concentrate on real life adventures.

Mine came at last. It is so much fun. Even got the number I wanted, which must have been a sweat as well, so thanks, nubbins, very much.
(Sadly the postman creased it a bit, but I guess this'll iron out.)

Now when is the next in the series?

nubbins, have you considered making a silkscreen like this but with QR codes for receiving and maybe private keys? I think a silkscreened QR code would be great for businesses because they could have them hanging up on the wall, or if you make a miniature version they could just be on the sales counter.

Silkscreen is an expensive medium for printing individual QR codes, as setup is time-consuming. Addresses that get re-used (tip jars, charitable organizations, etc) would be good candidates for this sort of thing; we've also silkscreened paper wallets with open areas for applying QR code stickers, certificates of authenticity...

Finally got it behind glass! And up on the wall. Thanks again Nubbins, it looks great!

Edit - Nubbins, If you end up making a series, please put me on the list, I would definitely like another Wink

MGGB that looks terrific!  I haven't had a chance to do mine yet but I see some framing idea thievery in my future!

Thanks ig,  I am sure yours will look just as great up on your wall. Smiley

Is it a custom frame? Or one of those sold in multiple sizes?

Yes, it is a custom frame. I looked online for hours, to get what I wanted was almost as expensive as the local frame shop, and I would have had to get the glass locally anyways.  So I said screw it, spent the extra money and just when there.  It was not cheap!  But I think it was worth it, it will last a long time.
