Few years ago some economic specialist says Bitcoin is a huge bubble.
why they said it? and what is the meaning of the bubble?

you can know it was a bubble only after it has popped. In case of Bitcoin it may not be a bubble, it just attracts more and more people and if it is truely used throughout the world as a medium of exchange its price is sustainable.

But if it is a bubble, than one day you will hear a loud POP and the price of Bitcoin goes down to 100USD or even possibly 10cents

Tulip mania was a bubble in a time where the Dutch really really loved their tulips but the prices got so ridiculous that everyone tried selling, instead of everyone trying to buy them.

Beanie babies was also a bubble, 2008 was also a real estate bubble. The difference between all of these and BTC is that the tulips, the houses, the stuffed toys, all were in unlimited supply and they didn't serve an actual purpose. Yes, BTC is exciting and people might rush into it but it actually serves a very good and targeted purpose. It's not just a pretty flower.

Another characteristic of most bubbles is the line "this time is different" Wink

Basically a bubble is something that float like balloon that when you fill it with air, it goes up and that's what they meant to say. Meaning to say that Bitcoin is rising up and you know what happens when bubble goes up, it will going to explode and literally will going down again after it burst.

Give me a chance to include by refering to a case identified with innovation which is the  Internet Bubble. At the point when the Internet ends up plainly prevalent in the 90's organizations begin to contribute a great many dollars to sites, some are hurrying to purchase spaces and offer at a considerably more higher cost. At the point when the twentieth century arrives, organization ventures don't produce enough wage in this way sites together with the organization bankrupt one by one. Some eminent organizations survived like eBay and Amazon among others, however as should be obvious right now, those two organizations are driving

Have you ever chewed bubble gum, then you blow air into it. The bubblegum makes a round formation. If you blow air too quick or the round formation becomes too large thus have weak walls and bursts? That is a bubble, that in turn burst. Markets behave in a similar fashion. Bubbles are normal. Any market goes through these cycles. Much like my bubblegum scenario, you never know when the bubble will burst. Yes, there are signs but noone knows for sure.

They probably mean that it's expanded a lot and gotten a lot of value quickly.

Few years ago some economic specialist says Bitcoin is a huge bubble.
why they said it?

They are saying it because they can't believe that a cryptocurrency, a decentralized currency is having a big value for each of it's quantity. And that bubble is something that's manipulated by big people and that's why they keep on saying that bitcoin is a bubble but we are not in bubble. This is a very obvious thing that bitcoin is on the mainstream and it is getting a lot of demand from the people that want to invest on it.

and what is the meaning of the bubble?

I don't know why they said few years ago that bitcoin is bubble, but I get the picture now and I think bitcoin is becoming a bubble, but it is not yet in a bubble.
Problem is people are investing money in bitcoin just because they've heard that they can earn and they are not using it as currency to actually buy things. This is creating bubble effect and at some point it will pop.

Bubble is a situation when the price of some asset increases than its actual value  due to a sudden increase in its demand.
But Bitcoin is not a bubble. The rise in it's price is real and genuine and if the price is too high then correction is always made to bring it down to a genuine price .So we cant compare it to a bubble .

yes sir i agree with you..
not these days but few years ago so many people says that..

I agree to you sir, that the Bitcoin is not a wasting bubble that is easy to disappear. In a sense of be lost to view/sight for an instant when comes on high position. Generally, bubble can amaze a lot of people by lifting up itself and fly high then after a while it will explode .

A bubble is when you have a currency or asset with an unlimited supply, or a supply that is able to change, and the people that are using it are buying to sell not to hold.

It's important to distinguish between coins like BTC and ETH, which are based on a blockchain platform, and tokens, which are typically applications built on a platform. Many tokens are created for ICOs (initial coin offerings) where they are sold as a way of raising funds for a business or project to move forward with development of an idea/new application. The idea of a crypto "bubble" could be applied to the ICO phenomenon as people are rushing in to buy these tokens without necessarily looking into the quality of the projects behind them. When you buy tokens through an ICO your are essentially investing in the business behind it. This means it is extremely speculative. If the business fails the token is worthless. I think you could describe the ICOs market as a "bubble" similar to the "dot.com" bubble in the 90s. There are many, many new tokens coming out but only a few of the projects behind them have legs and will last into the future. The others will go bust.

If you fear the crypto bubble then invest in BTC and ETH, or in stable and longstanding tokens that have real technology already developed (ripple, golem, sia)- though even these tokens might not be of value in the future... it is impossible to say. If you want to try to profit from the ICO craze then either research the projects thoroughly or just participate in free airdrops, which is something many new projects do as a way of drawing attention to what they are doing.

thank you for these information..

What consists a bubble? Air and nothing more right.
What they are trying to say is bitcoin is something that is from nothing. Nothing backs the price of bitcoin, unlike fiat with gold reserves that supports its price.

But if go deeper, on the Bitcoin's back there are electricity and internet, no?
I mean $$$ was a bubble firs... Gold and oil has value, cause people can use it. $$$ is just a paper which people create, because to carry paper much easier than heavy gold and liquid oil. And it makes possibility of goods exchanges more simple.
