Many people said the gambling is just a game and another people said it is Investment. How do you think?  Roll Eyes

In gambling world once you enter to this sites, they don't care about their players of what is the meaning of gambling. The important for the gambling operator is many gambler are coming to their place of course many will get to lose their money too. Meaning, gambling is a garbage of throwing a lot of money.

Casino know what is the definition of gambling and they care on it, Because don't care for it, what is the sense for them for establishing gambling site, In fact, not all casino are having profit from the loses of the players on their site, because not all players are losing especially on high rollers, I saw many site that been bankrupt due to insufficient bankroll to support the site from high rollers.  Gambling maybe a garbage for those people who loses on it but it is a opportunity to have a profit for those who invested on it or won on it.

In my mind, gambling is completely addictive because even though we lose in gambling we felt comfortable playing again. For me, gambling is one type activity which we can refresh our mind and lose all the tension while playing, though losing I won't bother much about it.
That's the bad effects of gambling that will make you addicted on it.
But they're some gambler that win more money in gambling even they addicted on it.

I don't think any addicted gamblers are making money from gambling because the more you play then one got a more chances of losing money in gambling. These games are designed to give you enjoyment but not a money so never gamble to earn money but just gamble for fun and if you're lucky surely you will make some money otherwise just enjoy your free time with small amounts.

For me gambling is just for fun, gambling can't be an investment thats because you can lose all you have when gambling and it's hard to earn money when gambling. Investment is more like investing money for the future which you know you can earn money our double/triple your money in many years, if you invested in a legit company. Gambling is just short of game which the percentage of you winning is low. For me gambling companies make sure you lose when playing thats because they also want to earn money so they make you lose and they earn in your money. If you ever win in gambling thats in your luck. They want to attract more people to gamble and tell other people that they won and etc.. So they can attract more customers. So gambling is just a game.  Smiley Smiley
That's the definition I agree with. It's not just really serious in a while playing but it's all about fun and games because if you don't, you are just going to be emotional when you lose, and that's not a good thing because you might affect people around you. You are going to affect them directly by your emotional state that's not great.

I still think gambling is just a game where you bet you fund and the control of your life.  Since there is a chance that you will lose your sanity once gambling beats you in controlling yourself making you addicted to it.  It is just a game of tag of war where the price is your future.

That is addictive, that's true, but OP wants to know if how we look at gambling, is it a game? or an investment?

For me it is an investment. I am there to earn and not just to have fun. If its just a game, then no one will be there to play. Everyone is there to win and not just to waste time. If gambling is a game and no money is at stake, for sure, only few will be there to play.
Quite complicated with your understanding , gambling is clearly not an investment.
It was game of money , something that can make additional money through a game.
When investment is purchasing an item in hope to get an income. Really doesn't makes sense you consider gambling as investment.

Of all the questions I have seen on this thread, this is the most unique one. Personally for me in the initial stages, it was just a game or a new passing habit. Later on during the course of time this became my passion. Now I love it and I enjoy it like how people enjoy having healthy habits, I have gambling habits. I feel one should be very careful as to what he defines it, as thoughs becomes things. One should not let himself loose out with the defination, as the newbies try to mimick the existing ones and they suffer losses.

It's only a healthy habit when you're not losing. When you start losing a lot, I mean a lot, you'd despise gambling and say bad things about it. I don't even know how one can have gambling as a "passion". Or does someone who says gambling is his passion just use that as an excuse to gamble more.

I understand people that have business or art or singing as their passion simply because you do it. You perform it, you practice it. But gambling? You simply put bet and that's all. There's no art in gambling or anything. Or at least that's just because I see gambling so simply.

Nothing is healthy in gambling even if you winning in it. With time you get addicted to it. Its like a drug to your mind and once you start loosing in it, you can't stop yourself from depositing more and more money to gamble. When you will realize what happened, it will be too late for that.
For addicts that maybe harmful for their money and for their future but for normal people it is not harmful and it will help in their health if they will gamble on gambling places like casino and sites as games as it will bring relax to their mind when they will motivate their minds with these games.

To me gambling is taking risks when you can't see the outcome very well. Like a shot in the dark. Usually a gamble is a high risk activity and a lot is at stake because the gamble is done for huge profits to begin with.

Many people said the gambling is just a game and another people said it is Investment. How do you think?  Roll Eyes
Yes, I agreed to them that gambling is just for fun and it can never be a form of investment, because when you say investment it is one of your assets, meaning how can gambling become an assets? ?? therefore, gambling is not an asset.

No assets is something that grow. The risk for gambling is much to high to be considered an asset.

i think if you keep winning you will eventually stop playing, what make it a drug is the chance of losing which are very high compared to winning, by keep losing you want to play more until you win, this is what make you lose everything in the end

When you are not worrying about your gambling losses, you can certainly get your preferred results from gambling for sure.

I find your definition of gambling is not contradicting your way of gambling. I mean some gamblers accept gambling for fun but they are not ready to lose anything. We must gamble for some purposes and we need to make our mind set suitable for that purpose then we can surely enjoy the gambling.

Well i kind of disagree with that though dude. Not all people who gamble get addicted to it. Some people gamble once ina while to release stress and these people can handle themselves pretty well and for this i can consider gambling a healthy activity for some. Addiction can be avoided if we know what we're getting into and we know what things are more important to us

It's both investment and game where you can sharpen your skill in gambling. In gambling there's a lot of features included there. like easy to grow your money or easy to loss all your money. but still gambling is a game which need a luck, skills and money in order to play gambling. through gambling many of us already have enough capital to start a business so they stop gambling. like me I'm only playing gambling because i need a huge amount of money.
