That's why gambling's definition comes to my mind is that this is one of the most addicting thing in this world. Just like those illegal drugs which are making the people crazy for trying it out. And it is also the hope of many people that who are depending with gambling for taking risk their own money which is not assured what will be the result.

In this sense the definition is varies from person to person, as there are some people who are really enjoying gambling as they play gambling in such a way that they minimize their risky of making money therefore gambling is a good earning source for them and they really enjoy gambling at all.

Do you have any proof that there is someone already making good source everyday.. honestly for me this is not good source of earnings for your daily needs.. and i think you can not win profit daily maybe sometimes you can win but not always..
So if you are addicted in gambling it is still not good gambing is your habit.. better to play and think just for fun and deposit a small amount for short or long term entertainment..

Indeed, addiction follows gambling if you let it take over your rational thinking.

People that employ strict bankroll management and bet sizing are less likely to get emotionally involved and therefore less likely to develop an addiction.

It should never be used as a method to try to make money, only see it as a fun game with an added bonus of money around half of the times (if you use good strategy). This will help you not get addicted.

gambling and addiction are completely different thing and gambling is not a means to make any extra money,gambling is a fun leisure activity and should be done with a strict small budget.

Addiction is not just applicable in gambling but most of us are becoming an addicted gambler when we talk about gambling. Because we are aiming for too much profit that we may get if we will get involved with this activity and I can say that when I am hearing the word gambling, the first thing that comes to my mind is money.

Yeah I agree with you somewhat actually while gambling we are mentally blind because you see all such debates and discussions are done only when we have either lost a lot in gambling or have tried a lot and understood finally that gambling wont work, so gambling makes you blind when you do it.

Yeaaa once you provided a nice winning in gambling you will forget everything.
It is how gambling work for real , it is such as a bad habit that cannot stopped.
People are too greedy , when did not another way to make money they choose to gamble as their best quick option.

Everything can be an addiction and it depends to the person on how he is dealing with it. But it seems that many people are becoming addicted to gambling the way it is not used to be. And I don't think that gambling is a way of making extra money instead it is a way to make your extra money lose to the house edge.

Well, as per my observation it's easier to be addicted in gambling than in drugs or any vices in life. Gambling is very tempting as it can give us great reward if we win and that's why you can see more people are into gambling trying to test their luck and hoping that it will give them fortune.

The problem is when they lose, they cannot stop because they have lose so much already chasing the unreachable dream and that results to addiction.

These people will only stop when they lose everything, but the damage has already been done.

Basic definition of gambling is not investment in the first place, it's an entertainment wit the requirement of putting money to quality to win or to lose depends on how you manage it. However, it's something that only gives us a small chance of making money compared to real investment like stocks or your personal business.

Gambling is not taught in school so no way we can master this while when we are investing we can have a good reference as most legitimate kind of investment has some method and techniques on how you can operate successfully.

What interesting is people already know they probably have higher chance to loss their money but still do it expect get more money.

Your statement has the answer of why they still gamble when they know they will loose. Because you see they " know " that they will loose gambling rather than they understand that they will loose. Not saying of others when I gamble, I am for some reason so positive towards my bet that I always think that I WILL win it ! more in sports actually.

not all games in casino that you will just lose in general there are some games you do not need to relay in your luck like poker enemy is real not computer or program it is skill base game. sports betting which is easy to predict because you can easily analyse their game who was strong or not.

Chill mate, most of us know it just it is hard to accept that we are loosers and since gambling involves money we always think we will win with it, actually gambling is " any activity where you invest money and the outcome of profit or loss is not influenced by you". That's true definition for me.

Yes right but I think no matter what game or what sort of gambling you do, luck or skill but it cannot be called as investment. If someone is calling gambling as investment then he is either addicted or is actually new to gambling, once he looses enough in gambling he would know the core of gambling.
