What you said is very appropriate, gambling companies will certainly try to make money from their gambling platform and we would rather see those who bet just to have fun and enjoy every game that is played and can quit when they have experienced a loss and enjoy the winnings that they have gotten.

In my opinion, it's the first big win that will make a gambler come back over and over again. The experience of receiving an amount that you cannot get in your salary or any other way can sometimes consume us mentally.
Greed is a normal reaction to humans and we cannot just erase that. After a big win, it becomes addictive to receive the same thing because we identified that it's possible to happen but little we know that is too rare and it could take years for that to happen one more time.
They say chasing losses is addictive, but I don't believe that, there will be a point in chasing them where we get bored and just stop and maybe accept that we are defeated unlike how it goes when you win. You keep on depositing all the winnings until everything is gone.

You make it sound as if those that gamble for fun never win anything throughout their gambling sections. The fact that they gamble with small amount of money means they get to play more while risking only a small amount and if they win any amount it covers up a big part of those that they have lost in the past.

The reason any person would open a business is to make profit and the same goes for casino owners, the reason they opened their casinos is so that they can make money but it’s unfortunate that the profit comes from those that get to lose their fortune to gambling - but still business is business.

Purely for me , the gambling at local casino is routine things to do with the option to have drinks, to have a chat with my friends who frequently visit its gambling pits, to get some extra money to my pockets. Sometimes the aftermath of this kind of routine were not as expected but I see this as kind of overhead encountered virtually in any human activity.

People have asked this kind of question several times and we give the same answers to it. You like to gamble but you do not want to spend much money on gambling in a way that gambling will not affect you, then you can have a gambling budget that you can fund weekly with just 5% of your weekly income or less. The less percent of your income that you use for the budget the better you will be. Any gambler that read this and follow it will thank me.

This is also what I advocate for, have a gambling budget and let the amount to be what you can afford to loose. When you're gambling with the amount that you can afford to loose, you will not be under pressure when gambling, it wouldn't matter so much to you if you loose a bet. If the guy in the OP story that bet with the friend that the looser will buy drinks for the winner, assuming the amount for the drink is what he can afford to loose easily, he won't be so much under pressure that he was loosing.

Of course, when gambling has been done more than once and it happens at the same time then it is no longer for entertainment or fun but to seek profits that can cover all the money that has been lost gambling. but of course this will only make us lose self-control, which is most likely because gambling that is done continuously will only provoke our emotions to become uncontrollable. and you can be sure that if emotions are out of control then what will happen is decisions that are not well considered. It all boils down to your decision, it could be a fanfare or financial havoc, it all depends on the individual, when it's done in moderation
You don't get tensed up too much because you are not risking more than what you have
It's not advisable for you to gamble with more than 10 percent of what you earn no matter how sure you think the game is
Gambling is only fun to those that are not ruining their finances or try to make it a source of income.. trying to make gambling a source of income can make you have high expectations which can eventually lead to bad decisions at the end of the day

Well that's the logic, as you said that doing it repeatedly is a sign that gambling can be addictive and I believe that something that is addictive in gambling is because of the winning opportunities that exist in gambling which gives all gamblers the opportunity to multiply the money they bring but I think it is a fact that most gamblers ignore the possible risks that exist in gambling which is because they are too focused on winning opportunities.
