I'll go with the gambling sites. Gambling is surely addictive. You'll definitely earn from players that likes to gamble their wealth. How to earn a profit on dating site though ? If you are a woman i'm sure it will easy to get profit but how about a man ? I bet it will be hard to earn money or even profit on dating site. Personally, i prefer a gambling site because it's more worth but yes it's very risky than a dating site.

Exactly, if you consider the total number of users on gambling site as compared to dating would be way too high. For dating there would be a certain age people would be interested in and while gambling it would not be the case. Yes there are the expenses and payment needs to be done but so are the margins in gambling and having a house edge etc will help in making quick profits for the site.
I'd say it's the dating site. Why? Well because in a gambling site you'd need to payout wins so you have some expenses., but on the other hand with the dating site you could make tons of microtransactions to keep them engaged, to appear more often and whatnot, also earning with ads just with the gambling site but you wouldn't have to payout anything as you would do with the gambling site.
