We need some regulation by the government  or something for all the people that try to scam all day long in crypto.

We have so many ICOs that are just scam and the people still invest into these projects. We need somebody who is watching all these upcoming ICOs to make sure that they are legit

The most important thing for crypto development is, to be "crypto development"! Not scammy worthless speculation only wannabe cryptocurrencies!

That being said, of your 2 choices I personally like the second a lot more. Bitcoin was created to fight centralization of money and a world of filth that comes with it, but nowadays everybody says get it regulated so that the big big money comes in! We should not forget our roots...

I would rather have crypto made as a form of payment in the real world there are only few of establishments that are accepting crypto as a mode of payment and I believe that this will make a huge change in the crypto industry in general. One it will be in demand such as fiat currency which will make is price higher and another is that it will make early adopters or holders profitable.

the way i see it is that bitcoin and by extension most of the cryptocurrency market (excluding possibly scammy ICOs) will be regulated by most of the world. meaning something about 80% of the countries will regulate them properly like Japan and many other countries have already done.

and the rest of the 20% may do some weird regulation or even ban them which means in that 20% people will simply use decentralization to go around the ridiculous laws.

While the government does not take its final position in relation to the crypto currency, I prefer the second way. I think that many people will choose this way. And my guesses are confirmed by the fact that now there is a strong interest in private coins.
Private coins is not going to cause a stir in the currency area. If the public can't get coins then it doesn't matter.

What do you think is really important for crypto development? We saw many government regulations and understand that we are dependent on them.
We have two ways:
- get adequate regulations from government, or
- go underground with decentralized exchanges,  markets and internet.
I prefer second point.  What would you choose?

Both worlds will co exist, because is in the nature of cryptos this. But unfortunately token economy will be the next state of world global economy.

Cryptocurrencies were created in protest to the monetary policy from central banks supported by governments. If governments regulate crypto without changing policy, like in the USA only accredited (rich) investors are allowed to invest in ICO's, wouldn't that defeat the purpose of crypto?
