Nobody knows.
You are asking the question which nobody has an answer. Ripple is not even crypto. It is supply is unlimited. They mint new ripples from time to time and nobody knows who is buying or buying why. Ripple was mostly in top5 since the day it made appearance.
Another suspicious thing is its trading volume. It is mostly very low which is not a good thing. Nobody's trading it, nobody is buying stuff with it, there isn't any promoters of ripple in forums etc. It is like a ghost.
Despite having all the bad shits on it though, it still stays in top5.
Why?
Wow i was looking this answer for months if i have to be honest. There are thousands of people trying to hype ripple, saying that it will be $1, $2, $5, $40 in a few years... They dont even know how does ripple works, why there is too much supply, they dont know anything about this coin and everybody is trying to hype it because they believe that investing only five bucks in this coin will make them millionaires.
