Now many bounty programs offering stakes instead of BTC.They are distributing their coins like 1% or 2% to the bounties.
For example : Total alloted coins for the signature campaign be 1,000,000 coins. If you earn 1 stake per week in signature campaign.Total 10 stakes in 10 weeks, and Total stakes earned by all participants in signature campaign bounty program be 10000.
Then the no of coins you will get,

           Your total stakes
    ----------------------------------------*Total Coins alloted in sig campaign
    Total stakes earned by all

  In the above case it is,
                    10
                  -------- * 1,000,000 = 1000 coins.
                 10000
So you will get 1000 coins of that particular bounty program.Hope it's clear.

Thank you! That's what I wanted to find

hi guys, Im just wondering what stakes means? i often saw it on some of the bounty here on forum like for example.
You will get 10 stake upon completion of the job. something like that.
how much is 10 stakes? and what its currency. thanks
stake is a quantity that help to distribution coin or token or btc after the end of the campaign,here my calculation

suppose one campaign give 50000 coin or token  to the bounty hunters after the campaign for signature .
payment structure :

legendary = 5 stake per wk
hero member = 4 stake per wk
sr member = 3 stake per wk
full member = 2 stake per wk
member = 1 stake per wk

if the campaign will run about 5 wk and participant are only 5 person  then participants will get 5x stake like below

legendary = 5*5=25 stake
hero member = 4*5=20 stake
sr member = 3*5=15 stake
full member = 2*5=10 stake
member = 1*5=5 stake

now calculate total stake for all member = 25+20+15+10+5=75 stake
now need to calculate 1 stake = how many coin?
so total coin divide total stake = 50000/75 = 666.66666666 coin per stake .

now all participants will get

legendary = 5*5=25*666.66 = 16666 coin
hero member = 4*5=20*666.66=13333 coin
sr member = 3*5=15*666.66= 9999.9 coin
full member = 2*5=10*666.66= 6666.6 coin
member = 1*5=5*666.66= 3333.33 coin

this is the calculation of stake

Stakes can also be topic of coins that are not mineable but if you keep those coins at your walltet, you get periodic rewards. But mainly, i see stakes term used actively in Bounty campaigns.

I think Stakes are records of shares distributed to workers who participates the project. Others says that this is the percentage of the shares in the rewards of the campaign. It is solved based on the eqautions given by the ICO. Stakes are also the points given to you I guess.  Grin Smiley

As most of the members have already pointed out, stakes are used to award people who participate in campaigns and then further divided as per a formula that the campaign manager has predetermined to further awards tokens to participants.

It is about bounties for some icos or projects. It simply shows your participation to their desire. Your rank affects it cause I guess forum's old users are experienced and more reliable.

To summarize, the stakes earned in each campaign will NOT be pooled together but rather the coins in each category will be divided in each category separately.

For example, after counting all Twitter retweets, the bounty manager will make a table where everyone who reposted will see their personal bounty stakes earned in the Twitter category.

I think the stake is a result obtained from various projects by following the campaign's signature and completing it until the end of the specified time. usually coin can be either eth or another because also many kind.

Stakes is the percent of your share on the rewards by the campaign . It is used in solving for the total shares you will going to get . Some ICO show their equation on how to solve your total shares in the end of the ICO. There are also shares , points and etc , it is similar to the stakes.

It is more like a share. The bounty campaigns here have to have bases as to how they would assign bounty tokens to campaign participants. So the better way to do it is to create stakes that would vary according to your bitcointalk account rank. Some others, although very seldom, stakes are given per post.

Stakes are a share of the total of coins allocated to a specific bounty campaign, e.g. Translation bounties have an allocated percentage of the total bounty pool.

i get it now, but how about the coins is that equivalent to 1btc or something? what is the conversion of coins?

For sure, it will be specified in the sig campaign as well so that you would be able to evaluate the worth of the stakes gained. Just review the sig campaign before entering.

Stakes means your share during the campaign. It indicates the percentage of what you will get after the ICO ended. So the more stakes you earn, the more shares you will get.

The beginner section should be a good place for you, Stakes just reflected how shares you will get after completed the job such as blog or moderation. How much your stakes depend on the how many total stakes already existed and the total amount to the job.

It depends on the coin listing price on any exchange. For example, if you 1000 coins earn through bounty campaign stakes and that coins listing price is 0.00001000, then your value in BTC is 0.00001000x1000=0.01BTC.
