Topic: What is the best bitcoin online wallet ? = except blockchain.info (Read 2700 times)
Was there any resolution to this? Someone suggested Bittrex, but I am wondering what is the best online wallet site to use? I tried Cryptonator and turned out to be a total scam and my LiteCoin never arrived in my wallet. I also noticed that 95% of posts and reviews about Cryptonator are negative, so that is definitely one of the sites to NOT use. What's the best LEGIT online wallet site? Anyone know?

for me the most appropriat and best bitcon online wallet is the yobit. i always suggest you to use yotbit online wallet.

Online wallets are not safe %100 because the site may get hacked or get down so you can't spend your bitcoin. If you have a smartphone you better try mycelium.
Here in my country I would say online wallets here are safe 100% even though we know that hackers can penetrate to their website.
But as long as you know what you are doing with your account and you know the transactions you are doing. So, if you found out that there's
an irregularity with your wallet you can just simply report it and there support staff are really fast in helping. So, except block chain I would say the coins.ph is the best btc online wallet.

thats true because of that i dont hold any of my bitcoins in online wallets because the funds might get easily stolen in my opinion thus i wouldnt make any of the bitcoins thento be honest im holding my bitcoins in a cold storage at the moment though if i had to choose an online wallet i would most probably go with green address or something like that

Do you mean the new Blockchain.info Wallet? Well if you have a problem with that new wallet, you can make a new wallet and transfer your Bitcoin to that old wallet (Legacy Wallet).
i also used to use green address wallet and the use of it is really easy to be honest, besides that i think that people dont have any problems with its security and stuff like that

Don't leave any significant amount of bitcoin's in online wallets, you're just asking for trouble although tbh if you really insist on it bc.i is one of the best because you can see your own private key(s). As far as I'm aware you can't with the other online wallets.

There are many good alternatives for you, so far i have categorized for myself the wallets, for online/hot/everyday-use/on-the-go wallets i would suggest coinbase, for desktop wallets: electrum because does not need to download the whole blockchain, and for cold and hardware wallets: trezor because it is very well secured but it's a bit costy.

Best wallets is depends on what country you originated and in my country the best wallet is coins.ph because it is user friendly and also we can top up our smartphones to have load it has also a feature that you can easily cash out it in atm machine even if the user dont have atm card and no fee for transaction.

I prefer coinbase over blockchain, but blockchain safer. Now I have switched to a ledger wallet, cheap and safe at the same time.
