blockchain.info is still a web wallet and it has risks, although they can never ban you for the way you use bitcoin but your account can be hacked since it is online and on the web. so think about other options unless you plan to keep less than 0.1BTC there and gamble with it!

You can use double factor authentication if you are worried for such. By the way i think its very difficult to hack such wallets because they require a identifier along with password and hence guessing or brute forcing such long strings is almost impossible. Plus blockchain asks email confirmation when opened from a new IP for an account or different from last log-in.

You have made a valid point and thats the exact reason why core wallet or light wallet or maybe online blockchain.info wallet is the best one. Because you can save the private key and hence you know you won't be frozed just because you used the wallet for gambling payments. I personally recommend blockchain wallet.

Its really good to use up those wallets which you have the possesion of your private keys and we know that blockchain do have already this kind of feature which you could get your private keys and thats a good thing for us. However , blockchain really dont have problems no matter in which things we do use it and thats the goodness of that wallet . Theres no restrictions and you could use it all you want.

I am using mycelium and blockchain.info both are working fine for me. For gambling both are working good to place bet on sports matches. But for cold storage I use core wallet.

for those who are new to bitcoin i will always recommend coinbase or circle for purchase and electrum for their wallet to hold those coins and spend them

now if you are more advanced i say take a look at running a full node if you like and also use your wallet offline and sign transactions offline and only transfer the signed tx to online pc and push.

There is no wallet with specific features which fits best for gambling.
You are free to choose whatever wallet you want use.
I've tried several and the ones I like the most and continue using are Electrum for Desktop and Mycelium for mobile.
What I don't like are webwallets.Don't really trust them.

It doesn't matter on what certain wallet you are using for your gambling habits. As long as it is not legal in your place you surely gonna have to pay your consequence. Prohibiting gambling to any wallets means they are following some rules.

First choice would be desktop wallets of course. As for web wallets, it would blockchain.info . They do have fees but you do get more control of your coins especially with desktop wallets. (blockchain, not so much but it's easy.)

Second, this may be a round about way I admit, but I think there's an option to deposit and convert to Neteller. They offer lots of bonuses when used to deposit on gambling sites.

Blockchain should be a good for gambling because so for I never had any issues with this online wallet. I have an account with coinbase but I never used it for any purpose yet. It is an additional wallet for me. Apart from these two, I also used XAPO account with their debit card to withdraw cash from the ATM.

ya i never had any issues too with blockchain, don't know why some people not recommend it, i think if about security , now they already have 2FA so people can secure their account by themself

Exactly. Why risk your funds on an online Bitcoin wallet. Having one downloaded and having all the keys in your hard drive is much safer, depending how you secure your computer, and no risk of having no access to your funds. I mostly prefer Multibit and Electrum, then also having some Bitcoins in cold storage is a good idea.
