I think I have to disagree when you said bitcoin cash is a coin that is worth it of your money as an investment, I would rather go for Monero, which is more trusted and really worthy to put your money as an investment. Bitcoin cash for me is not a stable coin that could go sink in the mud in no time. So, think hard before you put your money on a coin that you don't know how capable of living in the long run.
Also if you are going to hodl and not do Trading, the best coin so far for me is still Bitcoin.
There is no doubt that Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency on the market now because just some few weeks ago Bitcoin dominance reached about 70% of the entire market. However, there are also some good coins with working products like the Bitrue, Binance, DIVI. The first two are exchange site coins with promising future. DIVI is a masternode coin which has received lots of attention of late due to its ability to mine using its wallet on the PC.
The best cryptocurrency to invest is Bitcoin and Ethereum, as we saw on the Biggest market this two coins is the top among other coins and this is proven and tested that it will give us benefits and gain more profits.
For me, the best cryptocurrency to invest is the one that has the original idea and the use of this coin in the ideas of the project.
There are many coins that have an original and interesting idea, but watching them for a long time I see that they have no development. Therefore, not always an original and interesting idea can ensure the success of the company. Many last year’s ICOs had interesting ideas, and now nothing is even heard about them. It is difficult to find a project that will be successful among all existing projects, some of which are scam or unpromising.

Even the established alts such as Ethereum and Litecoin are inching towards complete obliteration.
I think the best way to invest in cryptocurrency is, make trading, becuase trading is the most papular interms of investing, but you need to learn more about trading before enterning the world of trading platform.
Many analysts are already starting to predict a very bad future for Ethereum, although I still consider ETH to be the most profitable investment to date. I hope that the team will solve all the problems that arose before the ethereum and a lot will change in October with the help of the Istanbul update.
Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency to invest, in my view. BTC is still the most valuable cryptocurrency, and it has the biggest volume of trading and the most active community. Its price is expected to go up highly during the few coming years, so it is worth our investment and holding for the long term.

don't want to underestimate other coins, but I think bitcoin and ethereum are the best crypto assets to have right now. the potential of bitcoin and ethereum is still quite large for this year. Well, when the price of bitcoin goes up, sometimes it has an effect on other coins, and lowers the price. if you want to participate in something new, choose the IEO project. see where they will be traded. I know, binance is the best place for IEO, many investors are successful because they support projects that sell there. No matter what you pick bitcoin will be the best for investment in any time. You can take chances with some ICO or some other alt but that can be long and painful process. Most of ICO are scams the ones that are good are hard to find or more to say hard to pick in alt you can play safe with ETH or similar.
To be honest, there are a lot of crypto currencies out there that can generate us a lot of profit but the best one out there is bitcoin. I am not bias about this, I am just stating this based on the information given in this forum, the price chart and the history. Stories are also told about this and I know a lot of people will agree on this too.
