If you are a beginner, then you definitely should not invest based on someone else's recommendations. You are now at such a young age that you have enough time to start studying cryptocurrency, and to understand its advantages and disadvantages. What coin is a good coin to be invest in facing the halving is Bitcoin itself.

I'm guessing, if you are at your current age you are still in school and of course the savings or investment you mean for your future, right? I would personally suggest Bitcoin and don't bet on shitcoins. If you focus on buying and holding BTC before the halving, I'm sure you'll get a profit that's worth it.

Even now, the bitcoin price is very supportive of making purchases because it has dropped drastically from ATH.

Focus on Bitcoin, don't be provoked or tempted by shitcoins that don't provide profits, but provide losses. You will focus on studies because you are still in school, your investment here may not necessarily be monitored every day, so my conclusion from some experiences that my friends and I have experienced is better in Bitcoin, with its track record without being monitored every day BTC is able to provide huge profits after the halving event, exactly one year after the halving BTC will form ATH.

As for altcoins, there are plenty of shitcoins and anyone among them can become pump and dump just like Luna and UST, but some altcoins can give 10x or more during bull run.

it is not all about being known to the crypto market but it is a matter of how this coin is worth in the future. Imagine that from $0 and it continues to rally that it reaches $60k last Bullrun, it probably there's more it happens to Bitcoin.

But being considerate of the risk in investing in Bitcoin alone, it could be wise to split investment to altcoins.

The best investment in next halving? Definitely it’s bitcoin. It’s gonna be bitcoin which will be hampered in terms of pricing. Unfortunately its bad for miners as reward gets dropped by half and they have to either tackle the halved rewards and profitability or increase the mining power. These are some of the reasons which makes price go down but for us it’s opportunity to buy more. Don’t know, we are already way down so I don’t really think we need to await halving period. If you wanna profit then buy now and book the profits.

OP, my candid advice to you is to wait for the bear to subside. From the prism I see things, I believe the bear isn't anywhere close to ending. The next Bitcoin halving is in 2014. I've noticed a pattern that Bitcoin always dips further a year before the halving and then skyrockets a year after the halving. In essence, it will be better to wait out this 2022 and then buy in the last quarters of 2023 for a haul.

There's no need to ask of what crypto currency is best to invest in the next halving because Bitcoin is the only one that does halving and make a bull run after that. So you definitely gonna choose Bitcoin over altcoins here, and if you have enough money to buy during this dip congratulations as long as you know how to hodl them for a long term investment. You know the next halving will be happening in the next two years from now and a little more months before the pump. I hope you could focus on holding at that time for too long since it always takes some patience to do it without panic selling.
