Currently bitcoincore, fast, reliable, secure, multibit went to the toilet :/
Shame on multibit developers, ruined so good project

update: oh online wallet, none, don't use Tongue, only offline. If i must pick one online, sadly, blockchain info, but they are also terrible
Yes I agree with you on that. I can't really trust online wallets with large amounts of money in them. Should the site become unavailable, I would loose those funds. At least with a local wallet you BTC are secure.

well all the suggestions seems reliable but blockchain its the oldest i guess

you refer to blockchain.info I assume. they're the worst security wise, check their history... there are much better online solutions.

Agree, their security is not really secure, i'm disappointed they block explorer has been hijacked.

There are still web wallet online which have a good features, like BitGo and GreenAddress.

Instead of using an online wallet, download a lightweight local wallet, like electrum.  That way, your bitcoins would not be lost if an online wallet site were to go down.

Besides, using a lighweight wallet, also you need to keep your system secure, always do scanned when you visita strange website or download something fishy file. This is tips for secure your system: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--985550

I like coinbase. It was one of the best.
coinbase isnt a webwallet, its an exchange.

you're right, however, every exchange is also a web wallet = store coins online. Smiley

Yes Coinbase is primarily an exchange but their wallet can pretty much be considered a stand-alone service. If I'm not mistaken there are currently less than 30 countries that can access the exchange itself. Rather than alienating the rest of the world while they work to enable trading in more places, they encourage people from all over the world to create wallet accounts with them by making the vault feature and insurance available to everyone.

There is a proverb in Malayalam, "one who does not know when he sees, will understand when he experiences." Roll Eyes
